Should have been more specific with my previous comment....I was referring to Cindy's therapist who suggested that she get custody of Caylee. The therapist must have sufficient information to tell her to take action. Wonder if those records will ever be released due to confidentiality laws.

Yes, they can be released if Cindy approves.

I have a feeling they want assurance that the State will not seek the death penalty by trying to convey doubt to LE that their evidence is flimsy at best. I think a confession is just around the corner IF it assures she could sidestep the DP.

I can't think of any myself. Bringing the body home should not negate any opportunity for a plea. The only problem I see with a plea is that KC would have to tell the truth and I don't believe she could tell the truth, even with flashcards!!!
Now THAT IS the TRUTH. Don't even think of he opening her mouth!

I recently watch a documentary about life in prison and they had an entire cell block for people with a "protected" status. They housed those that they felt would be in danger in general population together in this block. These inmates did not socialize with the rest of the prison. They ate at different times, went out in the yard at different times, etc. than the rest of the general population. The inmates actually had to request to be put there and be able to prove that they were endangered. They housed people such as child predators, homosexuals, and those who refused to join a prison gang or wanted out of a prison gang.

Yeah, great info., I knew it had to be something like this and not solitude. The money involved in keeping that many in solitude wouldn't be justified. Thank you..

Andrea Yates was mentally ill. In my opinion she is not in the same category as Susan Smith or Casey Anthony.

Not even close! When there is no comparison, some things are better left unsaid. Andrea Yates called LE and told them what she did!

We don't know that Cindy didn't believe it to be a true statement. It certainly wouldn't be the only time Casey convinced Cindy of something that wasn't true.

There's no way Cindy didn't know if Casey graduated from high school or not. She used to go to the high school and battle with the teachers over Casey's grades. And I'm sure if you search, you can find the link for that.

Ok, but my point being - just because Cindy says something under oath does not make it a true statement. She doesn't believe lying is against the law, remember?

There's lying & then there are the Anthony half-truths & mis-truths.

One gets the feeling that the Anthony family has dabbled in avoiding the truth for so many years, they really DO believe 'lies' fall into various categories.

Cindy also tells us that she NEVER saw any indication that Casey was a bad mother. And then we find out that Cindy warned Casey's friends that Casey is a sociopath.

Frankly, once the prosecution points out all the descrepancies in Cindy's statements, I don't see a jury believing a word out of Cindy's mouth. She'll be of no help to Casey.

AND she had a long history of postpartum depression/psychosis, and her family and friends were extremely concerned about her mental health and behavior. None of that with Casey.

If she fought with teachers over Casey's grades, Casey was still in school at the time. What does that have to do with Casey convincing Cindy later that she actually received her diploma? Heck, Casey may have pretended to go to summer school for all we know. We don't, IMO, have enough information to determine whether Cindy lied about Casey graduating or if she was simply misinformed.

Won't the Therapist deposition/testimony be revealing or will she claim Dr./Patient confidentiality? How could a grandmother allow KC to take Caylee especially knowing she had no where to go....it doesn't make sense.

This is something I was thinking about at length a few days ago. Even before Caylee disappeared, where did Cindy think she and Casey were when the spent the night out (ie: at Ricardo's)? I find that very odd! I guess Cindy didn't want to press the issue with Casey too much, but if it were my daughter/granddaughter, I would not approve of her spending the night out at a friend's house w/ Caylee in tow! Just bizarre.......

only thing I can think of is if KC tells where the body is..

But even if she told them where the body is, they will still have to go and retrieve it or else the possibility of it being another lie (mistruth) is still there.

I've heard that too, but i believe Susan Smith is in gen pop and doing fine. Go figure.

She is..and has been caught sleeping with a couple guards..Go Figure! Pull her picture up under SC inmate search, it's from 2007 I believe, she is all made up, looking happy as a clam. :furious:

And I also remember one of the commenting on the fight that was reported to the police after Caylee went missing. Also parents absolutely know if their kid will or will not graduate from high school.

IMO, Casey will also learn to live happily in prison.

She's depraved enough to enjoy her infamy.

Is it just me or has the reference to chloroform been removed from that article? I swear I read it in there.

"The crime was not cold, calculated and premeditated."

That is an admission that there was a crime if I have ever seen one. And Susan Smith was from S.Carolina, not Arkansas. Sorry if this has been discussed. I am just starting to read this thread.

When she is found guilty I want all her sentences to run consecutively instead of concurrently. Her total lack of remorse and inability to productively function in society makes her a danger to others IMHO. I would also hate it if she was released during child bearing years.

I wonder if any of the other inmates are going to write a book about the things they do to her in prison and Casey's miserable life behind bars.

Every woman changes when they have their first baby, and most struggle with the adjustment. But Casey had it wayyyyy easier than anyone I know who's had a baby - she got to be at her parents cushy home, they probably did the majority of caring for Caylee as an infant, they paid all the bills, and Casey never even had to get up and go to work!! So, sorry, but she gets ZERO sympathy from me on the whole "it was hard becoming a mom" thing.

And didn't her Cupid.com account say motherhood made her the happiest she'd ever been (or something like that)?? So, no, ain't buyin' it.

 Thank you for saying that! Yes, having a baby changes everything, and your hormones are completely out of whack, but... YOU DON'T KILL YOUR DAUGHTER ALMOST 3 YEARS LATER!!!!!!! She did have it easy.

They were talking about other mother's who murdered their children and did not get the death penalty, but life in prison. He mentioned Andrea Yates a Texas mother who drowned all five children was sentenced to life in prison. Susan Smith, the Arkansas mother who pushed her car with her two children inside in a lake, got life in prison

Must not have researched it too much....Susan Smith was in South Caroling and a long way from Arkansas!!!

I totally agree! Everybody will know her name and I don't think that it will matter to her WHY they do.

Why do you think she'd get life in solitary? I think she'll be placed among the general population.

Not if she's considered a nutcase she won't be! To add, the defense needs to choose what thier story is going to be. I foresee whatever the state wants, should this go to trial, will be handed over on a silver platter by ANY jury in Florida. As for Cindy, may she be next. She's so evil and deranged.
