Do they really keep certain prisoners in solitary confinement for up to 60 years??

I honestly don't know how long they keep people like that in solitary. I don't know what the requirements to be released into gen pop. I know in alot of men's prisons they have special "wings" for child offenses, but in women's I don't know of any. There has to be somebody that frequents ws that has some first hand knowledge of the rules. come out, come out wherever you are!!

Not saying that, but I think we would be naive to think she would be the only one to commit a crime on a child among those in prison, few they may be IDK.

mine are all grown...and I think I still get post partum or at least that is my excuse:eek:

Ok, that cracked me up...

So what is Casey willing to give up in return for this promise?

Nothing, I'm sure.

How can the prosecution even trust her to honor any deals she makes?

They can't.

Casey is not deserving of compassion, in my opinion.

I'll give you three:

1. Caylee being asleep in the Anthony home the night of the 15th is a rumor.

2. Caylee's breath heard "through" the bedroom door is a rumor.

3. Caylee leaving the A home around 12:50pm on the 16th is a rumor.

There is no proof any of it happened that way. If a neighbor states he heard an arguement on the night of the 15th, I'm going to talk about and consider his "rumor" against all the "rumors" coming from the A-camp.

No, your number 1,2,and 3 are not rumors. The information comes from statements made under oath. You may choose not to believe those statements but that doesn't make them rumors. The cell pings support Casey being home overnight on the 15th/16th. TonyL says Casey was home that night. Lee has never claimed that Casey spent the night at his house, as some people have theorized. There is not one iota of evidence that disputes the statements that Casey was home that night. To our knowledge, LE has accepted those statements as true.

There is, as of yet, NOTHING showing that there was an argument overheard by any neighbor on the night of the 15th. THAT is a rumor.

Is it at all possible this 30-page doc will be released?

It's Wednesday. Thousands will begin a search for Caylee's remains this weekend. I just have this very strong feeling before that search begins, Casey and her attorney will step forward asking for some type of deal in order to stop the search and get the death sentence thrown out.
By the end of the week, something pertaining to the location of Caylee is going to occur and turn this case upside down.
I think the defense attorneys have convienced Casey she would be better off not going to trial.

The article in the Sentinel says it is not public information....yet they apparently have seen it so who knows?

Cindy's statement that Casey graduated from high school was also made under oath. We all know THAT wasn't true.

I don't understand. What type of deal could the defense make that would stop the public from doing a search?

I think the defense is so not prepared that is why they are trying to stall. His new lawyer has been on the case for less than 3 weeks. JB made a comment when he was asked about the check fraud case. He said "We are not prepared to fight this case yet. We need alittle more time" I could not beleive he said that to WFTV. I don't think he could have said the same for the murder charges to the judge.

Chilly ... I don't believe that KC would last a day in the general population ... I have read many times that inmates really frown upon those that harm or kill innocent children.

I've heard that too, but i believe Susan Smith is in gen pop and doing fine. Go figure.

only thing I can think of is if KC tells where the body is..

I can't think of any myself. Bringing the body home should not negate any opportunity for a plea. The only problem I see with a plea is that KC would have to tell the truth and I don't believe she could tell the truth, even with flashcards!!!

I think that's because Susan Smith confessed, she showed true emotion about her boys, and she showed regret and pain. Casey has done none of these things....she'd be toast in gen pop.

Correct, but it is not a rumor. The fight IS a rumor. We don't know who said they heard a fight. We don't know what they heard. We don't even know if there was a fight. Yet everyone wants to discount actual statements made under oath, as well as the cell pings, because of something that, at this stage, is not real. EVEN if there was a fight, it doesn't mean Casey didn't spend the night at home.

Ok, but my point being - just because Cindy says something under oath does not make it a true statement. She doesn't believe lying is against the law, remember?

You're right chilly- I think it was said that she would be put with "like" inmates that had committed similar crimes.

I recently watch a documentary about life in prison and they had an entire cell block for people with a "protected" status. They housed those that they felt would be in danger in general population together in this block. These inmates did not socialize with the rest of the prison. They ate at different times, went out in the yard at different times, etc. than the rest of the general population. The inmates actually had to request to be put there and be able to prove that they were endangered. They housed people such as child predators, homosexuals, and those who refused to join a prison gang or wanted out of a prison gang.

We don't know that Cindy didn't believe it to be a true statement. It certainly wouldn't be the only time Casey convinced Cindy of something that wasn't true.
