Paywall dammit! I'd love to see the pics!
If you google image search "young karlie Pearce", you can see 3 photos of Karlie as a child. Beautiful girl :(

I was thinking about the older children as well .... someone must be helping out.

An earlier report said that Ms Passmore and Jamie M have 7 children between them. It appears likely that the younger child who is with them is his child with Ms Passmore and the older child who is with them is probably her child with DJH, the one who survived the accident. Unless Ms Passmore has had another child since 2008, the other 5 children are probably the children of Jamie M and one or more previous partners. The mothers of those children are probably taking care of them but might not be prepared to take care of children who are not their own.

Selfies, roses and mobile phones under his car seat: Teen fiancée of man accused of murdering Karlie Pearce-Stevenson kept an online diary of their relationship

Toni Blundell, from Charnwood, Canberra, was just 16 when she announced she was engaged with Mr Holdom on Facebook in July 2012. Police are reportedly treating her as a witness, but not a suspect, in their investigation.

When the suitcase was found I'm sure Detective Bray said there were more clothes in the suitcase but they wouldn't be announcing them at that stage.
Also, he was looking for someone who had removed something from the suitcase that was important to the investigation I thought how would he know something was removed....this is the first person/s to look in the the suitcase and who he is still looking for. I'm thinking they may have DNA from something in the suitcase. Sorry, I don't know how to link....MOO

Fibres maybe

Mr Pearman said a wide range of scientists, including a pathologist, an anthropologist and a forensic odontologist, had been working on the case.

Besides the bones, the other contents of the suitcase were also being closely scrutinised for other forensic evidence to assist detectives investigating the case.

“These examinations have provided other useful evidentiary information, including fibres, which are being examined by one of FSSA’s fibre experts in the Chemistry Group,’’ he said.

Could be they took DNA from HP and now have results...?

Some thoughts I've had while I was unable to catch up yesterday (& this part is almost 100% supposition) :

Since the recent revelations about the ACT home, I've wondered if Karlie asked a friend at that home to watch Khandalyce while she went out with their mutual acquaintance, DH.

DH came back to the house alone with a plausible story explaining why Kharlie wasn't present & told these people, who had no reason to suspect anything sinister, that Karlie had asked him to pick up Khandalyce for her, for convenience sake (a text or 2 from "Karlie" would've helped things along).

This would make them the last witnesses to see Karlie & Khandalyce alive in the ACT & they may even have held onto belongings for Karlie, expecting to see her again eventually.

DH immediately takes off to SA with poor little Khandalyce, maybe under the pretence of wanting to see HP or his own child. He tells police now that yes, he took Khandalyce with him, but he handed her over to HP when he arrived & the last time he saw her she was fine.

HP corroborates DH's account. Yes, he came down from the ACT just like he says, but No! He didn't have Khandalyce with him! He told me she was with Karlie!! I haven't seen her since the last time she visited me with her mum!

Could this be why police have narrowed the time frame for Khandalyce's murder, but have been unable to press charges yet? ie -they're digging through the he said/she said to work out which one's lying?

Its not been stated that the new "companion's" children live with them has it? The two in the video could be the new 2 year old....companions child, and the 9 year old that was 2 at the same time as Khandalyce...possibly DH's child. Now seen wandering along the footpath through the throng of press. Guess its not about her. What a life :(

Some little ones just don't like shoes and won't wear them, unless really forced to do so.

Force them! My children wore shoes outside of the house. They knew to wear shoes.
There's too much glass & rubbish that'll hurt their feet.

I am going for broke and state here and now, I don't think that Ms Passmore is in any sense of the word assisting the police in their enquiries.... certainly not on a voluntary basis. I think she is being questioned, slowly ,thoroughly, and with a certain degree of scepticism by Detectives involved in the matter of both Karlie and Khandalyce.

I just don't see this series of attendances at the police station as events reassuring of Ms Passmore's innocence.

Absolutely.

Over the weekend, the interview from last week was replayed while they checked off each statement she made with provable lies, and possible truths.

That took a couple of days.

Then they wrote up which key lies they were going to hone in on and how, what they were going to reveal they knew, how much rope to give out.

Listened to some of the surveillance .. checked some of the ping data against her statements.

Wrote up a list of questions in relation to that, did a little bit more investigation on this new info.

Then they brought her in again, and will keep bringing her in again and again until they have a rock solid case against her, are sure she's no more valuable on the outside than she would be on the inside, then they'll charge her and throw her behind bars.

IMO

One of my kids hates shoes, went through a phase when she'd scream the place down when I forced her to. I'm sure that would be just *lovely* for that family under the circumstances, with the press camped outside their house. It'd probably get police rushing through the door thinking they were slaughtering them all.

This thread is beginning to make me feel sorry for HP even though she almost certainly has committed Centrelink fraud and may possibly have been an accessory to murder. <modsnip>

I don't believe that HP had any children with DJH. The three she had with her at the time of the accident in 2008 were all her children, not DJH's. She may have older children, but she is only 33, so I doubt it. DJH had a couple of children of his own also, but from different relastionship/s.

Maybe its the DNA of HPs daughter they want to get. For maybe if the items in the case are a mixture of HP's children and KP/KPS
as some of us have surmised, they can then link the remains with HP

aww .. count me out.. I've done all the self criticism I am ever going to do. I can spot a scammer at 50 paces and Hazel fits the bill .... I am a bit dodgy on murderers, but even so, I got my eye on Hazel for that, too.

The girl, who I think is HP and DH 7 year old daughter. DH also has a 14 year old daughter. He was paying $22 a fortnight child support from his dole.
I guess the police would also interview the 7 and 14 year old daughters as they did with Baden Clay children.
