When the suitcase was found I'm sure Detective Bray said there were more clothes in the suitcase but they wouldn't be announcing them at that stage.
Also, he was looking for someone who had removed something from the suitcase that was important to the investigation I thought how would he know something was removed....this is the first person/s to look in the the suitcase and who he is still looking for. I'm thinking they may have DNA from something in the suitcase. Sorry, I don't know how to link....MOO

Uggh no, :tears: this is probably way off but I really, really hope it wasn't something like this. I kept wondering when they'd do a facial reconstruction for her. They're often done within days or weeks in the U.S & even knowing how lacking in these specialties we are down here, I was starting to wonder why it wasn't being discussed as a next step as the investigation progressed (to my knowledge anyway, I certainly could've missed it)

A skull found in Stanley Park in 1990 was thought to be the remains of a teenage girl, but in 1998, Mr. Sweet used the same technique to show it was Ramsey Rioux, a boy who went missing in 1989. Later in 1998, a woodcutter who lived near the park told police about a skull he had found there three years earlier – and had been keeping on a bookshelf as a souvenir. It turned out to be Ramsey’s friend Kenneth Lutz, who went missing at the same time. Neither homicide has been solved.

A 41 year old man and a sixteen year old girl , similar ages to my husband and daughter , the mind boggles.

Also..I might as well go out on a permanent limb and state that I think Hazel had control and ownership of that suitcase. Knowing full well what was inside it. For years. Something made her throw it away ,some catalyst, I don't know what, a direction from Daniel, an argument with James the Carer, whatever. ... something made her suddenly retrieve it from its hiding place and take it on the road and discard it, in a panic.

And when that suitcase was discovered, by the public at large, she sat on the info, until some bigmouth dropped the names Karlie and Khandalyce to the missing persons squad. I don't believe for one nanosecond that Hazel contacted the police with that information,..

Feeling sorry for Hazel is so far off my radar it constitutes an outer space moment.

I am going for broke and state here and now, I don't think that Ms Passmore is in any sense of the word assisting the police in their enquiries.... certainly not on a voluntary basis. I think she is being questioned, slowly ,thoroughly, and with a certain degree of scepticism by Detectives involved in the matter of both Karlie and Khandalyce.

I just don't see this series of attendances at the police station as events reassuring of Ms Passmore's innocence.

Police have confirmed TB is being treated as a witness and not a suspect. No clarifications about HP coming from LE. I'm 100% with you Trooper.

The uppermost thing on the investigator's minds at the moment is the murder of Khandalyce. Who did it, where they did it and who disposed of the suitcase.

IMO the police know exactly who the wheelchair woman is who defrauded Karlie and there will be an arrest soon. In the interim the police are putting questions to HP in regard to Khandalyce. What interaction HP had with her, when she last saw her etc. Getting more info about DH and his movements in the process. The fact that HP hasn't yet been arrested allows the police to continue to question her without her lawyer shutting the questioning down altogether. Once she's arrested he will advise her to not speak to the police at all.

Guys are you forgetting she is an amputee? How can she have got rid of it by herself? She had to have help. Her partner, boyfriend whatever is only fairly new, the last maybe 3 years. Do you think he could have been trusted with her secret, her big suitcase containing the remains of a baby. I don't think she had control of the suitcase. There are others involved here remember, HP cannot be the sole bad guy. To me she is a victim of DH just as much as the others.

here here!!! I 100% Agree with you, This case has been all over the media for months now, it's been trending on twitter, its on social networking sites, local papers, magazines, it's on the news, it's on your car radio when you get in the car.....If HP is going to try and say she wasn't aware of the case i think shes madddddddddddd. IMPO

She's had a good amount of time to come up with with more lies and more horseshit to tell the police, she in my eyes is a con artist who was defrauding KP'S accounts and made calls to her parents

And im just going to also say having a relationship with people who have drugs habits is bad parenting. scummy

I dont feel sorry or her one little bit. I feel sorry for her children who have been brought into this mess, by a very selfish person.

this is impo.......

It takes a special kind of coldness and real deep ambition to conjure up the nerve and cheek to front up to Centrelink posing as a woman you have to know is dead. You have to know it, because if she is alive, she can call you out on it. But the trick is, to play this one with full confidence.. .....

But then, there is the major roleplay.. the one where you ring the dead womans mother, either pretending to be the dead woman, or pretending to be the dead womans friend who is speaking for her , with permission..

This takes a really unique outlook of sheer detachment from reality (a) and (b) the toughest, most despicable nerve of all. In terms of impersonation, this one takes the cake, because you also manage to extract money from the mother , as well. Howzat for sheer bastardry..

The police are aware of this, they know they are dealing with a tough and experienced grafter in Hazel. Time is on their side, though.. not on Hazels. It's a matter of who blinks first.

I think, she had time since circa March, when the suitcase quickly had to disappear, to consider her possible lies. The pressure then became eminently, when K and K were identified. IMO
I'm curious, what will happen.

Yes I agree, I can't see her being able to to do this alone .

Yeah not totally sold on Hazel being responsible for any murder at all......but her partner of the time - for sure!!!

Given the fact that Daniel was the person found in possession of Karlie's KeyCard says to me it is most likely "he" who had control over the whole situation.

We don't know (for fact) what the situation was - Hazel may have been threatened, Physically/Verbally to comply with Daniel's demands re: going to the interviews at centrelink/bank and calling Karlie's family ..... She had lost two children already .... Daniel may very well have threatened to hurt/kill her remaining child if she didn't "Go Along"...

The police have hinted more people are involved ..... even though Hazel had moved on or did he - Move on from Hazel.. We have no way to know if she has been threatened by others to keep her mouth shut OR ELSE!!!..

Until more info come to light I'm willing to give her some leeway of presumed innocence, until proven otherwise.

Let's face it she was in a relationship with a manipulating, murdering violent man ... so no one really never knows what the situation was ...well until police release more info that is.

Trooper, perhaps she was a bit unhinged. I mean, she is probably codependant personality in a relationship with a sociopath, he. He crashes the car and kills 2 of her children. Enough to unhinge any mum. Then she loses her leg. Now, this crash happened at Marla, in the NT and a more remote and godforsaken place yo have a crash you could never invent. How long did she have to sit, with her 2 dead children and a mangled leg in the car before help arrived? Enough to unhinge her again.
Then she is told, we can't save your leg. Then she is in hospital, already suffering God knows what misery and torment, and he has an affair with KPS. She must have HATED that girl. She probably channeled all her hate into her and blamed her for all the bad things that happened. She certainly didn't blame it on DH cause she got back with him after.

I wouldn't have thought so either however it could explain why there was seemingly little effort with how the suitcase was discarded.

A thought has occurred to me re the Centrelink appearance/s. With Centrelink, you can nominate a person to act on your behalf. If you can fit one of the reasons for appointing a nominee, then all that is required is a Nominee form, signed by the rightful recipient (which would be easily forged with a changed address), sent to Centrelink, and voila, you are fully legit to go to Centrelink on that person's behalf.

Trooper I'm with you . I have exactly the same thoughts .

Lets see if it's three times lucky on the next interview HP is called in for.
