That gave me the chills
Same, she lived a full life and was loved by so many (same as the other victims) and was taken too early by Erin Patterson's evil and senseless actions.

Having watched every episode of Wentworth, I know all there is to know about women's prisons in Australia. And I can tell you EP will do very well. She will be top dog in no time. She won't be working in the kitchen, she'll be in the laundry room at the steam press.

And Katrina Milosevic (Boomer) should play her in the movie.

I'm not sure it will make a great movie. There isn't a strong "who done it?" theme because the evidence pointed only to her all along and there was a ton of evidence.

Perhaps a documentary would work, one that honours the lives of those she destroyed.

A quote from the "cook/killer" in the above book ..... "Originally I was going to poison the guests randomly, not kill them, perhaps a dodgy prawn here, some undercooked chicken and a bit of salmonella there. I brought the mushrooms with me, dried, some more poisonous than others. I wasn't really planning to use the big guns, though - not in . . ."

You will be pleased to know that I have ordered "The chalet"!

CCTV of Erin Patterson dumping dehydrator at the tip

By Madi Chwasta

Here are some stills from the Koonwarra Transfer Station's CCTV from August 2, 2023, which was taken days after the deadly lunch.

The vision shows Erin Patterson carrying a dehydrator into a large green shed.

Interesting. I wondered before about the fingerprints found on the dehydrator, and wondered if Erin wore gloves when she disposed of it at the tip. It looks to me from these photos that she is wearing white gloves

I've mentioned before that I think that Australian actress and comedian Magda Szubanski would be perfect, however, sadly she is quite ill with blood cancer.
RSBM
Yes, and it would be a very taxing role.

what happens to Erin's money and properties if she's convicted? does it go to pay her lawyer fees and then leftover goes to her children?
I really hope all those loans are paid and the money goes into a trust for the kids.

I imagine her legal fees are extensive but I think she sold the Mt Waverley property to fund her defence.

This article by two Australian law professors published by the UK Independent, originally from The Conversation, is good on several areas such as the difference between motive and intent, why the closing statements were so long, and sentencing policy. Sorry if this has been posted before, it's been difficult to keep up!

Stalking is a criminal act in VIC, so technically yes if complaints are made to police.

Stalking is a crime in Victoria and is covered by Section 21a of the Crimes Act 1958.
I think she should be charged with anything and everything to ensure that she is never released.

I am starting to wonder whether some of her wealth came from her cult followers, not just from inheritance. JMO
cult followers??

The DM has published about it already ...

The Herald Sun newspaper reported that, following a dispute with the notorious mushroom chef, a fellow prisoner became sick - and pointed the finger at Patterson.

A Corrections Victoria source confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that Patterson had been given a job in the prison kitchen despite the nature of the allegations against her.

Patterson's supporters insisted that the prison poisoning allegation was baseless.

WHAT????? They gave HER a job in the prison kitchen? For real? We were saying that like a joke but they really did that. wow

That is chilling, especially when you consider that's the last entry she ever made. Later that afternoon, she became violently ill and was in the ICU by the next day.

If somebody made a joke about it, you'd think it was too far fetched!

Yes it’s weird that a couple of ppl are making that reference …. As honestly I can’t imagine why, as there is nothing dynamic or exceptional about EP

I felt sad when I saw that she had her hair done a couple of days beforehand. Her last trip to the hairdressers, ever!
