I hope that the cctv from the cameras on his route has been accessed and not deleted. Not to be graphic but my head hurts at the image of him getting the body of CM into any of those containers. I have also been wondering if a gun would ever turn up, so easy to toss into a body of water.., also I can’t find the link but at one stage wasn’t there a photo of divers examining a large pond ?
I wonder if CM had any friends she communicated with on line ... I know my kids do , and are apps such as snap chat capable of storing deleted locations or messages ? Has there been any more info about the Tuesday prior or indeed the movements on the Weds? Did JS call anyone during Weds?
This is hardly a better image but I've wondered if CM was in the barrel when she was shot.

I've actually thought about this too, it would explain LE not being able to find a location

I have had rigor mortis on my mind the last couple of days - as a possible reason JS did not attempt to dispose of CM’s remains earlier (if she was not shot in the barrel, although I would imagine you would need to break some bones in order to fit in one I would think). Rigor mortis sets in as early as 2 hours after death and doesn’t resolve until at least 36 hours after death. He either had to place CM in a barrel early on or on day 2/3 which would coincide with Thursday. Given the detached method of death I struggle to believe he would have done anything other than place her in the barrel (as opposed to dismantle her body). I may be wrong in that belief as so much has of this case is beyond imagining.

Link to rigor mortis info below.

Big gap between 9.50 and 1.30. Hope they’ve been able to source footage from this time.

This is hardly a better image but I've wondered if CM was in the barrel when she was shot.
I have also wondered this...... however I have also wondered if a bullet would also perforate the barrel???
As a small child would not offer a lot of resistance???

Depending on the size of the barrel she could have been crouched down hiding in there????

All just terrible thoughts.... sorry hope it doesn't offend...

Yeah not a nice topic but something we need to consider. Someone upthread said the bullet may have lodged in the body? One spot that may happen is in the head I’m guessing? From a far enough distance but not too far? Im still hoping she was asleep when it happened but that may be wishful.

All of this is horrible to think about unfortunately. From when she left her GM all the way to the discovery of her poor body. Just hoping justice will prevail for our sweet girl.

As the sand was a relatively late purchase, in comparison to the estimated time of death, you would think that if CM was shot in the barrel there should be a "crime scene" of blood splatter etc on the inside of the barrel??? As blood would have dried, sticking to the inside of the barrel by the time the sand was added.... IYKWIM???

IMO / Speculation

Yes agreed.

Yes me too ..... I hope she knew nothing about it....

I think it would be fairly mentally challenging to pull a trigger on an awake child, could he really do that?? I'm hoping not .....

imo

I think it would be helpful to jog peoples memories if they showed some CCTV footage after Five Dock when possibly the boat cover was removed???
Assuming, JS removed the cover at this time, to try and start the boat???

It’s not something a normal person would do, no, but I guess it does happen. If that’s the case though then two scenarios that come to mind is anger and psychosis. Also possibly fear and panic. Could be way off but they’re the only ones to make sense, unless you have someone who is very cold and calculated.

No I believe the photo was taken at the RFS Command Post that was set up..... if you compare the building in this early video....

Nine-year-old girl missing for more than 36 hours (9news.com.au)
imo

Actually @SLouTh, agreed, Command Post @ Mt. Wilson. Motto: never trust some media

(imo)
Thank you for the video. In the linked video around 0:25, it says they consoled Mom at the 'search centre'.. it didn't look like the Wildenstein property to me, although news reports seemed to indicate that mom was questioned AT Wildenstein.. was the Command Post set up at Wildenstein, and if so, was the 'search centre' a part of the Command Post, and would they have erected fencing, posts, buildings, etc., there?

This is my own opinion only, as it is difficult to tell from early reports, but it seems KM was at Wildenstein when Police arrived, she was then taken to the RFS Command Center, as they made Wildenstein a crime scene very early, (with Police guard) and it was from the Command Center, that KM went to hospital ...

NSW Police seemed to ensure that the Wildenstein address was not contaminated very early on ...unlike the WT case.....

If she was sleeping in a bed when she was shot, that would have left quite a mess to clean up and I would imagine LE would have found that evidence right away.

Yes I would tend to agree.... however if the estimated time of death by Police is correct he may have had 2 days to clean up??? But in all honesty I think it would be extremely difficult not to leave some kind of trace...
Is there any furniture missing??? Even a lounge?? Or a floor rug??
All imo

I'm wondering about local campgrounds more so fire pits at campgrounds as a means of possible disposal of anything that could have been incriminating like sheets etc.

Does anyone know of any along his route?

I’m having a hard time coming up with even one reason for shooting a 9-year old girl. Like what could ever happen that would lead to that. It’s such a brutal, callous and definite decision that can only be done if you want to kill.

I think that this is a very, very pertinent question!
But at the same time these people probably don't have a conscience so keeping things clean for their story is a priority. This is PURE speculation but think about how CM could be of value to someone who uses. It is just diabolical. And I pray the sweet thing was kept out of these interactions.
