Belanglo Angel supposedly from overseas . Dentistry different . I dismissed what was written thank god.....

I vaguely recall something about dental work being different reported, definitely reports that Belanglo Angel may of been from overseas. This may of in turn prevented a family member or a friend of Karlie and Khandalyce being able to make the connection if they had taken it as gospel.

Information received by police indicates that the woman may have been a backpacker or worked in a vineyard, and may have been of German or European background.

You may well be right Symbah. I know I read a lot about her . How ever I have gobbsmacked to see that these people knew all about the murders . How far they went to cover for him. Doubt they will see real justice for their crimes of concealment.

This entire "network" of subhumans need to be identified and imprisoned. Having evidence of a murder and not turning it in has to be a crime.... surely, and on and on and on. I don't think I will be able to stomach an immunity deal
This is going to be a circus. I hope Karlie's family stay away from court - while they honour her they don't need to go through this.

To what I think is normal people is beyond belief, but these people are way out there beyond what we call normal. They knew he had killed Karlie and knew that he had killed a tiny little girl, but they profited from using her bank details to access her single mothers benefit to cash in on a poor little girl. whose mother was killed and then so was the child that they were cashing in on.

Drug links everywhere perhaps ?
Nobody wants to rock the boat .
Maybe some drug etc busts occured via those links .
Drug addicts are also victims in a way , imo

If domestic violence was present in any of these relationships, that could also explain it. DV is a pattern of coercive control; after many years of this the victim is basically brainwashed. Thinking differently from the abusive partner is almost impossible, and right and wrong becomes aligned to whatever makes the partner happy, angry, uncomfortable etc. Even apart from the partner, that thinking is ingrained, such is the level of fear and isolation. It takes years to for that thinking to reset.

“Daniels lied to me! Said he killed Karlie and Khandal but there [sic] still alive! It’s all over Facebook,” it said.

“He says their dead nd [sic] he made them think she’s alive but everything he says don’t make sense.”

Although not stated, I believe it to be from the younger ex gf due to the writing style. Imo it may at least partially explain why the crime was not reported by this witness..the story may have seemed to unbelievable...and at the same time to chilling/sickening to digest as real.
Hope this is new to others and I havent somehow missed it along the way.
Such a mess of coverup and lies, the quote suggests to me the witness was probably leaning towards it being some kind of confusing sick mind game of his perhaps.

The familiar way in which the victims are referred to makes it sound to me as if the writer knew the pair. Which the younger ex gf wouldn't have done.

Also I don't get your explanation of why the writer didn't report the matter. S/he seems to be at least somewhat outraged at the possibility that Karlie and Khandalyce are still alive, given that Holdom had told her/him he'd killed them. It seems initially s/he believed him, then became unsure because of something on Facebook and the realization that his story didn't make sense. Why didn't s/he report the matter earlier on, when she did believe it?

Holdom (Shrek) had "examined his conscience", he allegedly claimed, and wanted to tell police who really was responsible.

The accused double killer then suggested a former friend had a hand in the disappearance of Karlie Pearce-Stevenson and toddler Khandalyce in 2008.

Holdom offered to go "crown witness", court documents reveal.

However, by this stage, homicide detectives had traced Holdom's mobile phone activity to the remote NSW forest where Ms Pearce-Stevenson was allegedly stomped on, killed and dumped in December, 2008.

People at the house said Holdom returned alone after being gone for about 14 to 17 hours, the magistrate said.

The motel they stayed at was actually in Narrandera NSW not Wagga Wagga. About 3.5 hours from Canberra.
Gruesome thought had occurred. That he put Khandalyce in the suitcase in the garbage bags wrapped with duct tape and left her to suffocate.
That pic of him with his arms around Passmores youngest daughter makes me ill. This guy was creepy AF ! Why did these women lie for him and not tell police what he had done.
It's seriously [emoji19] seriously beyond me. He probably harmed other children after that they could have stopped that.
