I wonder why the 2 areas out the back. One near the clothes line. Perhaps these are the only other areas where soil is soft enough to potentially bury a body. If I was the owner of Paul's old house I'd be a little concerned if nothing is found on this site.

I think you are right about those locations being where the softer, disturbed soil is located.

For all we know the Police might already have Paul's old place on their 'next to do list'. Not very far to move the equipment and personnel. Very convenient when it is just up the road.

paul and marilyns property at number 6 actually shares its backyard with ku rin gai national park.

if shes not at 2 I think they should definitely head for the back boundary of number 6.

ooo…. perhaps they have other sites in mind to search!!.. other sites with as much relevance as her home!..

( nail biting) …
Yep,
Paul's home.:):)

Yeah, after a few years of little more than pats on the back for his tragic loss, Chris must have thought he was bulletproof. So even though with the advantage of hindsight moving might have seemed a gamble, at the time Chris probably thought he was 'home free'.

Chris may be worried about being 'home free', I wonder if he can leave the Country:
??? has he been told, to stay in Australia, with the ongoing investigation, digging etc o_Oo_O or another Tony Mokbel escape.
Chris may need to borrow that wig.

Or claim he is Paul, so Paul gets arrested instead of him.

the puppies have arrived :)

Agent KP reporting for duty.

No surprise there. Those cadaver dogs can sniff out human remains years later, even if the body has been buried.

I am so depressed by the Bowraville decision today that I can barely raise a cheer for the cadaver dogs,.. all those years, all that work, all that hope... all that concrete evidence, too.

It is so horrible, words fail me.

Lynne's body isn't there. I am convinced of this. It may have once been there, but not now. Chris knows this, Paul knows it, Marilyn knows it. Those three know the complete narrative, backwards and forwards.

An interesting conundrum .. just how far can the brotherly , twinly love of identical twins for each other stretch?.. what would be the limit?.. maybe we are about to find out.

troop very disappointing about Bowraville.

have been thinking about the removal of lyn.
would he really take the chance to move her??
the dangers of getting caught ….her being found in another environment all creates more risk?
he could have only had the opportunity surely to remove her while the property was still his?
if so......my money is out the back of pauls place in the national park. direct access and not a soul to see you

him snooping around number 2 for the next 10 years makes me think shes still there though.

Day 2 Completed

Detectives have finished a second day of digging.

The homicide squad, police rescue team and a blood sniffing labrador left the home in Bayview at about 3pm.

Police made no announcement of whether they found anything so far.

A Forensic Services van remains parked at the entrance to the property’s driveway, and the gates will be guarded overnight.

It is understood that the search will continue tomorrow and into the weekend.

Police have erected tents around the four digging sites on the property, under which any recovered objects and rocks are being brushed and sorted through by hand.

The sound of drilling and the gyration of the sifting machines has been a constant since digging began yesterday.

Commander of the NSW Police Force homicide squad, Detective Superintendent Scott Cook, yesterday said police would go ahead with things whether they found a body or not.

Sounds like Lyn or no Lyn, Chris is going to get a visit from the police sometime soon.

Wonder how knowing that will rest on his, Paul's and Marilyn's resolve and conscience?

Maybe the dogs found something ?
I don't reckon theyd leave if so tootsie.
its a negative sign for me.

think they started at about 6.30 so 3pm is more or less 8 hour shifts.
thought they would pull daylight till dusk really.

I'm sort of projecting my hopes a bit.

I don't see it as a negative sign. Maybe the money for the search only pays for so many hours.
Also it could be easier to clearly see things in the daylight up until a certain time in the afternoon.

Yeah, hard to know what to make of the relatively early finish?

I'm guessing, owing to the delicate nature of things, that even if the police found something they won't let on until they had tested it.
