Australia Australia - Pheobe Bishop, 17, failed to board a flight from Queensland, Bundaberg, 15 May 2025 *Arrests* #4

"Dr Vincent Hurley, a criminologist at Macquarie University said
the pair would be under massive 'anticipatory stress' while they await being sent to jail.

'They will be terrified of the unknown,
so that anticipatory stress,
along with things like poor nutrition,
fear of ramifications for family,
and just the sheer danger,
will emotionally exhaust them'.

'I anticipate they'll be put into protective custody
because of the age of the girl, Pheobe'.

'In jail, those accused of murdering a child are held in even lower esteem than a police informant',
he said.

Dr Hurley also predicted
that Bromley would have a more difficult time in a women's prison than her partner, Wood, in a men's facility."

All this is no doubt true but they'll be safer in prison than out on the streets, safer from vigilantes I mean. Also if anything happens to them they'll be quickly attended to inside. They're way better off in there than out, in fact they both just had a lifestyle upgrade IMO.

I have a video driving from Samuel's Road to Commercial Street as previously discussed. It won't upload. Any tips on how to share it? Happy to send it to someone to upload if you're able to get it on here somehow.

You might have to upload it to a free video hoster like Filebin and then put the link in your message on here. :)

Re the black marks all over the doors and walls etc in the photos from inside the house, it's the dusting powder that LE use to look for prints and marks.

It's taken me ages to realise this but anyone who's ever had their home dusted down after a break in will recognise this.

So it makes the house look far dirtier than it already was.

What really amazes me is they left PB near the airport for 2 days before moving her!!!!!!! Police searches in that area were too late.

They must have got cocky and thought they haven’t found her yet. Better move her.

PB is 6 foot tall. How did they move her without being seen. I’m guessing at night.

Surely family would have gone and searched the area straight away

I don't think they left her there. I think they took PB to Good Night Scrub, initially to the first location they searched, and then moved her further in (9km away) to the second location. Police were testing the soil from their initial search and were confident PB had passed, likely due to the forensics coming back.

Court documents confirm they interfered with her corpse on 15 May and then moved her to good night scrub 2 days later.

Maybe the reporters have reported it wrong

I’ll try find it but it was in a daily mail article further up in the thread
From Update 5: Missing girl, Bundaberg.

Detectives have charged a 34-year-old man and 33-year-old woman with murder in relation to the disappearance of 17-year-old Pheobe Bishop.

Pheobe has not been seen or heard from since May 15.

Police have conducted several enquiries during their investigations, including multiple searches of Good Night Scrub National Park, forensic examinations of a Gin Gin property and vehicle.

The remains of Pheobe Bishop have not been located to date. Detectives continue to investigate this matter, and physical searches will continue as needed as information is provided.

Both the man and the woman were arrested tonight in the Bundaberg area.

They have been charged with one count each of murder and two counts each of interfering with a corpse.

Update 6: Missing girl, Bundaberg
Police continue to appeal for any information in relation to Pheobe Bishop or the movement of a grey Hyundai IX35 between May 15 to 18 in the greater Gin Gin area.

As far as I can see, the police haven't named any other locations as crime scenes, which they certainly would have if they thought her body was there.

“However, it will be alleged Pheobe was murdered on Airport Drive in Kensington.

According to court documents seen by The Courier Mail, the housemates then allegedly interfered with the corpse on May 15 in Bundaberg or elsewhere in the state.

The pair are then accused of two days later moving the remains to the Good Night Scrub National Park, south of Gin Gin, where they were found last Friday by police.”

Yes, I think the DM is just assuming she was later moved. As far as I can see, that hasn't been confirmed by police and as I said, no other crime scenes have been listed. I think they moved PB to Good Night Scrub May 15, and again May 17 (as in, to a more concealed, harder to get to area within Good Night Scrub).

It literally says according to court documents. Thats the brief of evidence so far

Do you mean this bit?

"Court documents suggest the 17-year-old was killed on Airport Drive in Kensington"
Look a couple of posts above. Someone has posted the sky article which states she was dumped in Bundaberg and then moved to GNS two days later. I would say the first and second sites in GNS were done in the same night.

Sorry, yes, to be clear, based on the evidence provided by police, PB was seen alive near Airport Drive before she was killed.

What I'm saying is, based on the crime scenes noted by police and the information they have released, including 3 people did not leave the car etc, after PB was killed in the car on Airport Drive, they then drove to Good Night Scrub May 15 and left her remains there, before returning and moving PB again between May 15 - May 18.

I think the cadaver dogs in the original search location found evidence and that's why they took soil samples.

Airport Drive was not listed as a crime scene, and surely it would have been if there was evidence PB was killed and left there (as opposed to killed in the car and not left there).

IMO - I understand we won't know for certain until additional information is released.

Heartbreaking for PBs family regardless of the timeline.
