This is a comparison I posted earlier in the thread -
The car spotted in Gin Gin (top picture) looks to be a 2009ish Kia Carnival.
It's quite distinct from the Hyundai driven by the housemates.

( just finished reading all these threads today ) as soon as i saw jw & tb bleached their hair this is instantly what my brain went to. bleach strips basically everything away that attaches to the hair follicle.
Couldn’t JW just shave his body hair and beard if he wanted to test clean?
Surely that would be easier than bleach?

25 of May ~ CCTV footage surfaces showing the grey Hyundai ix35 in Gin Gin at 10:30 a.m. on May 15, two hours after PB was reportedly dropped off at the airport.
BBM

Do you have a link for the car being seen at 10:30 on the 15th in Gin Gin please?
Somehow I have missed this part ….

Many thanks

Edit to add …. That gives a 2hour timeframe in the timeline, if the roommates were back in Gin Gin by then, after the alleged airport trip…. How long does it take to drive from Bundaberg to Gin Gin ?

The grief-stricken mother of missing teenager Pheobe Bishop has admitted the 'worst case-scenario could have happened' to her daughter as she begged the public to share any information about her disappearance with police.

Kylie Johnson's voice wavered as she fronted cameras for a video appeal shared by Queensland Police on Saturday, over two weeks after Pheobe was last seen leaving a home in Gin Gin, Bundaberg, on the morning of May 15.

You can see the Appeal by PB’s mum here:

There may be something dodgy or inaccurate about the video. It was deleted by the original person who posted it.
Probably because it wasn't the car allegedly involved in this case, not even the same kind of vehicle. imo
It is not a police-released video, just a SM rumour, I think.

CCTV footage posted online on Sunday showed a grey Hyundai ix35 – the same car model police allege Ms Bishop travelled in on the day of her disappearance – driving along a back street of Gin Gin.

The CCTV footage was timestamped 10.30am on May 15 – two hours after Pheobe was alleged to have been dropped to Bundaberg Airport to fly to Brisbane.

The video has since been deleted by the original poster.

Oh my, my heart goes out to the Police. They have my utmost respect.

Det Acting Inspector Ryan Thompson who is in charge of Pheobe’s case, also is in charge of this absolutely tragic case, in Bundaberg.

Thanks SA ….

Wonder if the Samuels Road sighting was before or after that time?

Samuels Road could easily have been a detour “to” or “from” the airport considering its close location …. If the alleged airport trip is true …..

IMO

The Samuels Road thing confuses me, because it looks to be a side road and not a main route to anywhere. Unless it was a route taken to try to dodge some known CCTV. Or there was some other specific reason to be on Samuels Road.

It is very hard looking for CCTV because all of the streetview images are from 2015. I am sure things have changed in the last 10 years.

Is there a positive sighting on Samuel Road? I haven't seen anything yet to confirm, they're asking if anyone has CCTV or Dash Cam footage of the car in question. They might suspect that the vehicle drove through there, or the housemates have told them they did.

IDK. That is why I have been streetwalking the area, looking for CCTV. To see if there could have been a CCTV sighting.

But it is futile because the google streetview images are so old. The google vehicle didn't even go all the way down Samuels Road in 2015, just partway.

There is some kind of business at the corner of Samuels Road and Childers Road that could (potentially) have CCTV pointing at its gates/the roadway. But I can't see CCTV there in 2015.

"Police appealed for dash camera and CCTV footage of the car, naming the locations of interest at Bundaberg — Airport Drive and Samuels Road — as well as Gin Gin."

No Street cams by looking at it, possibly they can only rely on the public to supply video footage.
My guess is that the housemates either told LE that they dropped off PB in that location, someone has a possible sighting of the car there, or they traced a phone in the car and it stopped in that location. There must be something of interest along that road concerning the car.

Hair analysis: Assessment of homemade hair treatment effects on drug concentrations in the keratin matrix

Some hair “cleansing” procedures suggested in the Internet to negativize hair samples for drugs, demonstrated themselves to be very effective in lowering analyte concentrations

Check the tables at the bottom of the page - in the study, bleaching removed up to 96% of drug traces from hair, varying by drug.
Interesting hair colour choice indeed. I wonder what was used to colour it? And whether there is a purchase history of the product. Reason being hydrogen peroxide can bleach hair and has a dual purpose of being able to breakdown proteins in blood.

As someone who lives near that region, the Samuels Road part doesn’t make sense. If you are coming from Gin Gin why go down that road? There are flood cams along Bundaberg Gin Gin Road which may have picked them up travelling through.

Does traffic build up at that time of day on the main roads around the airport?

Also, there was a news reel from 7 wide bay news that said Avoco and Branyan were of interest. I can't find it off hand.
