Australia Australia - Pheobe Bishop, 17, failed to board a scheduled flight from a Queensland Airport. Last seen Airport Drive, Bundaberg, 15 May 2025 #2

If the dogs had been shot (not sure this has been confirmed), it's a big coincidence it happened around the same time PB went missing. Maybe the dogs attack her.

I noticed that the appeal didn't reach out to PB, asking her to come home or anything like that.

I'm wondering when PB coloured her hair red, I've not seen any photos of her with red hair. Most importantly has anyone else other than the 2 housemates seen her red hair. Not sure when TB changed her hair colour, I just think it's a massive coincidence that PB has gone red like TB had hers and TB is now blonde. Sorry I'm rambling but think theirs something to it.
They may mean red as in ginger not actually the colour red. In some pictures her hair does look a bit ginger.

Well,
Whatever.
This pair seemed to be neighbours from hell.

How the minor girl landed there is beyond my comprehension.
Nobody intervened.
And now she has vanished :(

The condition of the house must have been known to most of the town, as the local kindergarten was directly across the road.

I'm assuming it's reddy brown like in the bottom pic of the flyer they put out.

Im sure it was a oversight but the mother said at beginning "Pheobe was a beautiful...." (past tense)
Photo of JW sleeping in car, he still has his seltbelt on, only people heavily under influence do this.
The local council and or health department should condemn the house for obvious reasons.

I think Phoebe saw or heard something she wasn't meant too and needed to be silenced or got in middle of a DV that got out of control. Doubt they would kill her over unpaid rent or bills.
Same with arguments, if they wernt getting along & annoying one another her leaving resolves this.
The last (unlikely) a sexual relationship with housemate/s that went bad or a encounter ended badly.
1st one makes most sense since she was leaving the state and no longer under there control.
Makes no sense or any good reason why she was dropped off near and not inside the airport.
Unless someone "credible" has confirmed hearing or seeing Pheobe on the 15th its very likely something happen to her on the 14th and what the housemates say happened on 15th is BS.
Love to see cell tower info for Pheobe's, TB & JW phones and the housemates call logs.

PB was there for a month.
According to the neighbour there were noisy parties there, dogs howling, etc. during the time PB stayed there.

So the girl obviously allegedly knew what was happening there
and didn't report them.
Allegedly
never notified authorities.

Nothing happened to her during this month.
Only before the flight.

I doubt she was suddenly blackmailing them about reporting the pair about something unlawful.

But there seemed to be alleged noisy argument just before her leaving.

That is why I suspect it was about settling matters among them, maybe financial.
Tempers might have flared.
She was leaving,
but some issues might have not been resolved.

Re "got in the middle of DV"
(quoting OP)
TB wasn't living in the house any more.
But in a bus.

It might also allegedly have happened
that
her disappearance was pre-planned for this particular day of the trip.

But then,
why to argue noisily?
Why to draw neighbour's attention to themselves?

Who knows? 🤔

All just speculation on my part.

I believe Ms Johnson (Pheobe's mother) has been hoping for the best, but has had to come to terms with the worst.
Her daughter has disappeared without a trace. She never boarded the flight which she'd saved for months to afford. She never contacted her boyfriend who she had been so excited to visit. Her phone was switched off one last time. Her bank account and social media have remained untouched.
It's not a stretch to believe that Phoebe is dead, especially when the Police are treating the case as a homicide.

“Daily Mail Australia witnessed Wood being confronted by an irate local as he slept in the driver's seat of his car under a tree in a local park.”

I guess Wood is not popular with the locals…

@Dotta
Ok, living in bus was prob better than the horrid stinky house if the outside is anything to go by.
Im not suggesting blackmail. Her knowing stuff that could end there freedom is enough reason to kill
Even if they had idea she had no intention paying them or returning, killing her over little $$ is crazy! Why not take some of her possessions as payment. Stealing charge is far better than murder!
I dont think she owed them much if anything,, Living at city dump has to be very cheap!

This argument unless the neighbor herd what was said could be about anything. These people lived very poorly and obviously didnt care about disturbing the neighbors with there fights & loudness.

Yes, IGA (Independent Growers Association) is a franchised grocer / supermarket.
The store was referenced in this article when a worker described Pheobe having difficulties affording groceries.
Thanks! Posted from the quoted article above.
Snipped - BBM

Meanwhile, an IGA supermarket worker, who did not want to be identified, told Daily Mail Australia Pheobe visited the store on several occasions 'looking worse for wear with no money'.

'Why aren't questions being asked about what happened to that poor child 10 weeks before this? Where were her parents?' the worker asked.

The visibly angry staffer said Pheobe 'looked like no one owned her' and was desperate for food, often 'short changing' them 'to the point that I paid for her'.

Did she still work as a cleaner?
Did she save all money for the trip?
To the point of starving herself?
What was her contribution to the accommodation?

It was reported her bank account was accessed on the 14th May for the last time.
Did she withdraw cash?
One can pay by card anywhere nowadays.

Or she could have just bought snacks for the trip.

I wonder if her parents gave her some allowance, as she was still a minor after all.

I think it could be likely if the argument was with PS, that money owed to them is a possible explanation. And, perhaps things got out of hand.
IMO - A DV Perpetrator (especially one that may be still on a bender) does not need much to 'set them off'. It could be something as simple as PB waking them up to take her to the airport, especially if she was really excited for the trip and anxious that she would miss her flight.

What does the irate local have in her hands?
