Snipped by me

I'm trying to find the older news article that shares the neighbour called police after hearing a man yelling and a woman screaming, but the police didn't show up, the morning of.
It was on this thread earlier on but was removed.

This kid never stood a chance :(

I saw that also, it said that, a neighbour rang the Police at 5am after they heard a man yelling and a girl screaming, but I also cannot find it anywhere. Maybe the article has been edited now.

For those of you tracking the case from overseas, ABC news is more legitimate than Sky News, the Courier Mail or the Daily Mail who will publish articles based on rumours even if they're not true.

A lot of takes have been shared here, but it sounds like they're from an overseas point of view. This post is only aiming to help.

Yes, Gin Gin is a small community. Phoebe is 17 years old and many teenagers from Gin Gin, Bundaberg and other regional areas like the idea of living in the city after high school. It is entirely possible her social media posts about getting away are regarding that. Her BF lives in Perth which is the opposite side of Australia and a minimum of 2 flights from Bundaberg, so it could be about that. Gin Gin, like almost every city in Australia, has drugs.

She's 17, so she likely graduated from high school November/December 2024. It's normal to not live with your family after graduating from high school.

I'm familiar with the airport and unless the roommates are charged, I'm going to lean towards the idea that they did drop her off near the airport. It's a safe area, there are walking paths, shops nearby and while it wouldn't be my preference, I have heard of people being dropped just outside the airport terminal to avoid having to take a ticket and park. There is a drop off zone, but it is limited and often people park there so it gets filled quickly. If the roommate gave her a lift on their way to work, it would be easier and not suspicious to drop her nearby, especially if Phoebe was early for her flight.

I've mentioned it previously, but it is common to bury pets in your backyard after they die, especially in more regional areas. This could be suspicious but it could also be 20+ years worth of pets that aren't linked to the current tenants.

Guns aren't as easily accessible in Australia than other countries, but in Gin Gin there are lots of farms so more people would have access to a gun. However, if Phoebe isn't found alive (and I hope for her sake and for her family, she is), I would be shocked if the cause of death was by a gun.

Yes, I read that somewhere as well. Rather alarming.

Cheers.

Just in regards to a few things.

ALL media outlets feed off each other and all of them have sloppy journalists and great journalists. All as bad as each other when it comes to these sorts of missing persons cases. In fact, in one case that is well known in Australia, a journalist made a motsa on the tall tales of stories based around the case and it sold to the public, most of whom believe every word of it. Because it was a book a journalist on the case wrote. Such is the world we live in today.

PB was kicked out of home long before she finished high school and went back and forth to home trying to find resolution in her young life, let down by both her parents as she herself says on many of her own posts.

I'm sticking to the police report that she was not anywhere near that airport, never entered the terminal, never checked in for her flight.

When police finally arrived at the rented house, the stench of dead dogs, 3 or 4 dogs that had been recently shot, filled the neighbouring areas.

" A stomach-churning stench surrounded the home on Thursday morning and Ms Loughland ( neighbour) said the remains of up to 11 dead dogs had reportedly been found at the property during police inquiries.

The couple were not at the address on Thursday, while detectives in forensics gear scoured the home.

Cant imagine buried dogs filling air with stench myself.

While many farmers certainly do have gun licences for their farm, carry a gun and knives in your car, in a public place / school, as the charge against TB was, my guess is BOTH JW and TB knew how to use guns and knew that by law, carrying weapons in your car while in a pubic place /school is against the law.

The odds are stacking up against JW and TB

As far as a job goes , my guess would be an illegal job and benefits . JMO

Pheobe Bishop's chilling final text is revealed - as the last person to see the missing teenager before she vanished on her way to Bundaberg airport breaks his silence

“Pheobe Bishop's final text to a friend before her disappearance has been revealed, as police divers descend on a creek in a Queensland national park

The missing teen told her mate she was excited to get out of 'this s*** home' before she vanished without a trace, Daily Mail Australia can reveal.

It comes as the last man to see Pheobe before her disappearance, James Wood, has taken to social media promising to give his boat to anyone who can lead police to the teen.”

Yes correct.

This is why that other post regarding the " 5am argument on the morning" wasn't found. The same person who posted that tall tale on socials, is also suggesting PB will be found in WA. I think we call them scamming psychics - gleaning information from social media posts of the victim / missing person and predicting garbage that isn't correct.
"The 5am arguing in the street the morning of the flight " was from that same person saying she was in WA at such and such location, which is why I didn't link it up here.

Police have searched bushland and waterways in the Good Night Scrub National Park today, May 23, as the search for a missing 17-year-old girl continues.

Specialist police, including the Dive Squad, have been involved in land and waterway searches of the Good Night Scrub area but have not yet located any items of interest.

This is part of various searches in the wider Gin Gin and Bundaberg areas that have been ongoing this week.

Police are appealing to the public for information, including any movement in the Good Night Scrub area on May 15, particularly in the Mingo Road and Gayndah Road areas.

The drive from Bundy airport to Good Night Scrub National Park is around 1hr 15mins.

Maybe both KB and JW didnt go straight home to Gin Gin but stayed the night in Bundy.
Is there is an account of someone seeing them on the morning of the 16 May ????
If so then maybe that is why when the police turned up to their house they were no where to be seen.
Trying to get my head around the abandoned house and KB car there when the police show up.

What car are they driving around in if her car is a crime scene???/

Thats his FB page so someone on it must have sent it out.
Ironic that he is pleading for information about her on his CLOSED social.

Reminds me of Erin Patterson cry for innocence

I’m sure police are all over it, but would be super interesting to know what was said to (and by) the boyfriend on the phone at 8:30am, if it was verified that it was Phoebe on her end.

Being that close to the missed flight you’d have to imagine it’s either her telling the boyfriend she’s missed the flight and maybe why - which could give an insight into what has happened next - or perhaps he’s given her a reason not get on the flight. If they’ve got that from her call log you’d imagine they’d have any calls or texts afterwards to the flatmates (‘come pick me back up’, or if she really was kicked out in the middle of the road an ‘I hate you’)

It seems without that call to the boyfriend, it would be much easier to place her as never leaving the home that morning. But if she has spoken to him at 8:30am then police should be able to tell by the closest cell tower if she made it near the airport. Obviously something hasn’t gone according to plan, but if she was still alive at that point then maybe she was able to give a reason why
