In these cases where a car is found disabled, and the (presumed) driver is missing, people always immediately suggest that the person fell down a mine shaft or into an oil well or into a ravine or some such. But why would anyone wander off the road and into the wilderness/fields/desert? If your car were disabled and you intended to walk to get help, wouldn't you follow the roads and maybe try to flag down passing drivers?
Not if you'd had an accident and were a bit delirious. Or drunk. Or drugged, or running from someone/something.

Whose house was searched recently?
And septic?
Mr Smurfs?

How awful. I hope her friend Kim is not involved.
Has it been revealed how many people were at Smurf’s the night Trisha went missing?
Who saw her leaving for home?

SAPOL website's report of the latest search (article, stills and video at link) only states that Trisha & Kim visited a home in the north-western part of Andamooka, and that a home in Andamooka was searched. It was previously stated that Trisha was last seen driving on Dunstan Dr, but AFAIK it was never confirmed that "Smurf" lived on Dunstan Dr. Can someone please clarify if I have that correct?

I’m wondering if the septic that was searched is near Trisha’s house.

Oh golly.
I must’ve missed something- who is Paul?
And I never heard about the kids motor bike been taken by police as mentioned above. Is that true?

It is true according to Trisha's own son Max. He talked about it on a livestream with Ping a while ago.

I believe it was Trisha and Tony's septic. Paul's place was behind and he didnt like the media filming his place.
Yes you’re right about the septic belonging to Trisha and Tony.
I went back to the very start of the thread and read that Trisha and Tony’s house is near the outskirts of town where the road comes in from Roxby Downs……

I imagine taking Dunstan Drive, then turning onto Jubilee Drive would be a quiet route home from Smurf’s at 2am.

I can only find Ping and Max talking on their second chat and there was no mention of a kids motorbike bike being taken for testing (must’ve been mentioned in their first talk).
What a great way to get home from Blue Dam unnoticed, especially on a push bike.

So, if all this is true, that it was Trisha & Tony's septic tank being investigated, and that a bike from their household was taken away for testing, do we think SAPOL is just crossing off all "the usual suspects" first, or are they suspecting someone very close to Trisha? Just pondering. MOO.

Just a few thoughts - IIRC, Trisha's partner Tony said that she "had done a runner" before, but she had still kept in touch with her children. Might that mean that the couple were a bit prone to arguments? Another thing I thought of - she was bringing home some beer wasn't she? But then Trisha and Kim stopped at another house in Andamooka (Smurf's?) Maybe all the alcohol was consumed there? And maybe when Trisha realised that, she was worried about how Tony would react. And "took off" again to avoid an argument. Just some thoughts.

Maybe prone to arguments.
There was beer in the car on the backseat .

I’m starting to wonder if the police know Trisha made it home that night and suspect Tony did something .
She was last seen at 2am driving along Dunstan Drive heading for home . There could be security footage of that.
There’s probably not much chance of her getting pulled over and murdered in about a three minute drive between Dunstan Drive and home.

IMO

It's in the livestream titled "What's going on at Phillip Island? A cold case Re-ignited?

Has it ever been determined just who/what saw Trisha driving at 2am along Dunstan Drive, and whether it was actually Trisha behind the wheel? Was it captured on CCTV or was there a witness, and does that witness have a reason to lie?

Thankyou Lisbeth.
Very interesting chat between Ping and Max!

Max’s little motorbike has been taken for testing ( screenshot below is taken from the livestream showing the exact bike ).

Max hasn’t talked to his Nan (Trisha’s mother). He said something has happened and he can’t say what it is. I’m not sure when.

There has also been a fall out of some sort between Tony and his mate , the one whose idea it was to search for Trisha at Blue Dam . Max couldn’t talk about it.

Edited to add: According to Max, the six pack of beer was sealed when Max, Tony and his mate originally found the car. Someone opened it afterwards and took two out.
