Other charges? The assault against an officer charge or something else?

I’m not certain but I know that when he was originally charged there were 3 charges but the only one reported on was the child abduction. The other charges might be suppressed (not sure if that’s the right term). So I’m thinking perhaps those as well as the assault charge.

I suppose it’s also possible that they agreed to drop the other charges if he plead guilty to that one but I think that would have been reported..?

Horrific. Often, charges are not public to protect the victim. If there is enough with a guilty plea for one charge, there isn't any need to go into further details.

I am surprised that the defense did not go with insanity plea. Probably because he would have been locked up forever. This may at least give him a chance to get out.

i think the other charges were for assaulting a police officer, only a kidnapping charge in regards to cs

Some details are coming out now.

The flap on the parents side of the tent had also been opened (and left open). And there was a footprint inside the tent.
It was very windy that night and they think it must have been the noise of the wind (and perhaps TK opening the zips slowly) that led them to not hearing the tent being opened.

TK was not there when they were setting up the tent. CS's pink bike sitting outside the tent was the indicator that let TK know that there was a young girl in there.

They also speak of the social media trolls who had "hate in their hearts" and were blaming the parents. Confirming, to them, that there were terrible people in the world ... like the one who took CS.

TK told CS that he took her because her baby sister was sick, and CS's parents needed to take care of the baby sister.

CS told her mum that her necklace was still in that house. TK had taken CS's necklace off her.

The mum seems really level-headed, and is helping CS work through it. Tells her it is okay to feel sad, it is okay to be angry. She says CS is a very strong little girl.

The 60 Minutes video doesn't seem to be online yet (not sure if they wait for the show to play in WA before they put it up) ... but a little of it is hitting MSM.

Agreed. They have nice plans for their family now. To leave Carnarvon, buy a caravan (where they can lock the door, mum said), travel around their state ... and then travel around Australia.

They will also have the money now to get CS professional help, should she ever need it. (My thought)

It's not like Ch9 can't afford it.

Mum is so sad that CS has lost the safe innocence of childhood now. Maybe they can grab some of that back for her with their family travel plans.

On 60 Minutes ES talked about how her instant recognition of the dyeing and “chunky” cutting of CS’s hair had her needing to step out for a minute to hide the anger and violation she felt over the changing of CS’s appearance. Lots of mixed feelings but eclipsed by the pure joy of the reunion. When ES spoke of that her face absolutely glowed. I’m thrilled for them and wish them many happy adventures in the new life they have planned. Hopefully in the best caravan money can buy.
