It does look to be important "now" - emphasizing "looks to be".

It's one of the many things we didn't hear about until the Inquest when the Coroner released it. Some of those other things, that the Coroner released, also seemed important, but it doesn't seem that the Police agree that they were important to the Public.

There are many reasons that we wouldn't be privy to or even understand why they release some information and not others - it's not up to us to understand, it's up to them. They are the experts - not us.

Your last paragraph - 'Considering where the investigation is at now with the release of FM's walkthrough' - it's only us, the Public, that didn't know about it - the Police did, it wasn't new to them. I don't imagine that they sat on it for 7 years and didn't give it another thought. IMO

I’m not really saying that though. I’m questioning why the foster parents didn’t discuss it. Not why the police chose not to release the information because I don’t think it was information they told the foster parents to withhold in the first place. IMO Gary Jubelin didn’t believe the foster parents had any involvement and so the drive was not considered important for him and his team to question or look into. The new team, and possibly the Coroner, IMO, believe the foster parents may be involved in Williams disappearance and that is why the walkthrough snippet of FM was released and I’m of the opinion that the foster parents chose not to discuss the drive FM took because they are covering something up.

I don't know how reliable that from CO's is, as there is also a discrepancy in what she says here:

CO's book page 7 (eBook)

Compared to this tweet from the Inquest:

The foster parents had to get permission from the relevant agency overseeing the foster arrangement to travel outside of Sydney with the children, including to Kendall, the court heard.

Yes I noticed that discrepancy too .......
Sometimes you have to wonder what is correct??? It's crazy!!!

But you were saying that you couldn't see a reason why the Police wouldn't release it after I said that they probably were instructed not to.

Jubelin wasn't the only one apparently that didn't think it was important - Hans Rupp and Fehon as well as Laidlaw who has been on the case now for over 3 years and is just getting to this point? Really

Laidlaw has been in charge of the case for almost as long a Jubelin, and we aren't any closer to finding William that we were at the beginning IMO.

BBM .... This is what is so heartbreaking!!!

Gosh its hard to believe that its been 3 years since the first tranche of the inquest!!! But it has.......

Did Police have Cowan in their sights by this time in Daniel's Case?? I keep thinking there is hope as it took 10 years to find Daniel RIP....

I think my point is, there have been so many discrepancies in MSM and even reporting on the Inquest - that we really don't have anything, that I would call concrete, in the way of evidence. The only way to have real evidence is to actually be at the Inquest, be on the Strike Force or have some 'real' insider knowledge - otherwise it's just too (insert swear word) difficult to put together with what we think we know or have been given.

In addition, we have seen the Police go after (according to MSM) several different POI's along the way that I just can't get my head around any new POI's until someone is actually charged in regard to William.

The call to policewoman Wendy Hudson and Mr Donoghue's departure from the club, which was caught on CCTV, happened around 45 minutes before William's foster mother states William disappeared.

And it was also more than an hour before the foster mother made the Triple-0 call to report that the three-year-old had vanished

Did William Tyrrell disappear earlier than reported? Why CCTV could prove crucial | Daily Mail Online
But the evidence given at the inquest by Wendy , was that her sister called her @ 12:20 pm & she was at Benaroon Drive with her 2 sons by 12:45

According to Wikipedia, police talked to Cowan within 'days' of Daniel's disappearance and he denied involvement. Some police were pretty positive it was him within the first two years. Not those whose opinion counted, unfortunately.

Hey Sleepinoz.....know how you feel......it is most puzzling .... try not to be discouraged in your pursuit of the truth (As muddied as it is). I am sure you have to fight back tears when you think of that innocent courageous little boy who appears to have tried to give joy to those who he could see loved him). Just saying.....

That inquest was between October 2010 and April 2011. I remember the moment when the unnamed Cowan's alibi collapsed. That's him! It was a little bit like that when we first learned about FA.

That's a good point.

Something is brushing against my memory, about which of the foster parents normally drove? Discussed in the context of FFC being familiar or not with the surrounding streets? I wonder if she really wasn't comfortable handling the 4WD.

I’ve also been of the opinion that this drive occurred prior to FMFC return. . along with previously suggested reasons, I feel in my case, I would’ve said to him, since he was already in the car ‘ well I’ve done a check around here, but how about you go for a drive in case he’s gone down the road & I’ll keep looking around here’ .

I actually don't think anyone can say what they would do in their situation, unless you've been there. Stressed, traumatised and in panic mode - nobody knows what they would do.

Due to weathering it would be lighter, similar to the article they found. Looks to be a similar thickness too, imo. They also found a dark piece too which would make a match for the FFFC maccas outfit but they either amounted to nothing or they haven’t released any info.
Have investigators ever said that Foster mother's pink shirt was missing? How do we know it wasn't right there in the bedroom with her other clothes the next morning?
