In adjourning the court, the coroner said “there is still a lot to do. In some sense I feel we are only scratching the surface... we need to just keep going”. Mr Savage will resume his testimony in the morning. @10NewsFirst @10Daily
Yes, what a pity they can't 'Just keep going'! What a pity it will have to wait until November, after tomorrow. It seems as if they're just starting to gain momentum. IMO

Just catching up-Hope mr savages brother was collected eventually !

Wow, inconsistent alright. I have more questions now than I did before PS started his testimony. I can’t tell if this guy has memory issues, which is understandable to a point- it’s been a long time, or is guilty of something. I wish we could see and hear a video of his testimony. His demeanour would probably help work him out.

Biggest red flag is the planning to leave to go on a significant drive to casino to collect sick brother from hospital ( hence the packing of his bag) but the stating he had no plans that day. IMO

I wonder when they are going to pull out the witness who says that Heather was with them from very early that morning.

Did we establish if tomorrow is the last day ?

Did we establish if tomorrow is the last day ?

I thought it is supposed to go for one more week, but back in Lidcombe. Didn't they slot it in for four weeks?

For some reason I thought 3 but surely it has to be 4. Still have to hear from spedding and AJ I believe . IMO

I took it as tomorrow is the last day in Taree, but they may go back in November. It sounds to me like they will keep going in Sydney next week. I could be wrong and I’m happy to be corrected, though.

Yes, I think it may be for only 3 weeks. Ending tomorrow.

The second part of the inquest is sitting in western Sydney for the next two weeks before it moves to Taree courthouse on the NSW Mid North Coast, near where William disappeared.
William Tyrrell abducted in a car by an offender who chose to 'act on their desires', inquest hears

I don't think that they are free to just carry on, at will. The Coroner will have other inquests already scheduled, I would think.

I’m wondering this too. There was an article posted today that said PS was first interviewed in 2014, so surely they would have interviewed Heather then too. It could clear a lot of things up if they talk about her interview (if there was one).

We’re for Sydney | Daily Telegraph

The second tranche of hearings into William’s disappearance on September 12, 2014, began before Deputy State Coroner Harriet Grahame on Wednesday — it will be a mammoth four weeks of hearings, including one week in Taree Court House from August 19.

Ah ... so maybe another week back in Lidcombe then. :)

Could someone please confirm if Heather was back home by the time Greg and Regina arrived? I'm lost.

It hasn't been stated.

I was looking at the club's bingo schedule the other night. Bridge follows after Friday 11am bingo .... at 1pm.
I know that doesn't help answer your question, or tell us when Heather got home, but it is a tidbit I wanted to put here. Just in case.
