I've lost count of the inconsistencies. Does this guy have memory issues or covering something up?

From ABC:

Key witness changes his story at William Tyrrell inquest

William Tyrrell inquest witness Paul Savage grilled in court after changing his story

Cracks are beginning to emerge in the evidence given by a key witness at the inquest into the suspected murder of William Tyrrell.

Craddock put to him that it was “practically impossible for a three year old to make his way through that” and Savage responded by saying “you don’t know that before you’ve been there”. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

The court heard he got back to his house 30-40 minutes later and walked out the front to “see what was happening”. He saw police cars and “thought they don’t need me at this stage”. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

Another cup of tea? Any toast this time? Shouldn't he have been on his way to Casino? Wonder why the change of plan.
I think he rushed his wife off to Bingo so he could sit and drink tea all morning...NOT!! lol

was the video of the bush walk through re enactment made in 2017?
2 years after, so understandably difficult for him to remember every detail, sounds like hes suffering memory loss, but surely if thats the case he could provide a medical certificate if needed? would there be a test for that?
also did he turn his radio up to drown out the noisy children, im sure he would have had a look to see what they were doing?

Craddock asks “you weren’t standing out there for an hour though?”. Mr Savage said no. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

“So if Greg Newton is right about his estimate, then you might’ve spent more than 15 minutes in the house. You might’ve spent an hour inside the house?” Craddock asked. Mr Savage said he can’t recall but doesn’t think it would’ve been longer than 15 minutes. @10NewsFirst @10Daily

And why would the wife need to rush to Bingo if her brother and wife were on their way to visit? Is Bingo really that important? Strange.

I suspect there’s a good chance his wife wasn’t there that morning. She would be his only alibi.. IMO

How did his wife die...?
Good question.. I’ve seen it mentioned that she had cancer, but nothing official. She was seemingly well enough to play bingo and drive and go for walks in September 2014. She must have become very unwell very quickly to have died 6 months later.. IMO
