Australia Australia - William Tyrrell Disappeared While Playing in Yard - Kendall (NSW) 12 Sept 2014 #79

There are so many inconsistencies. I tried to chart them once. But it got too complex.

Numerous inconsistencies, complicated lives, some bizarre characters including serious criminals, a local pedophile ring, a sleepy backwater ... the list goes on.

Maybe a dream scenario for a writer but a nightmare recipe for investigators.

FA is a petty thief (as well as a child abuser and alleged murderer).

I describe FA as a putrid excuse for a human being.

IMO, he is capable of any evil imaginable.

I don't know. I would love to hear exactly what evidence Jubes actually had about the entire case. But there are so many biases in this case. Maybe time to call in Ron H. for a fresh eye in everything.
I'm looking over this case again after a long break, and after having recently learned more about pedo rings.

I think Jubes suspected all of these men were in a ring?

I thought it was far fetched at the time, but looking back, I think it was a possibility. The part that doesn't add up for me is the snatching of William. A pedo ring wouldn't want the attention. They usually pay someone who is willing to let their child be abused, as disgusting as that is.

Gary Jubelin joins Bill Woods to demand answers in the 11-year mystery of William Tyrrell. From the "sufficiency of evidence" sitting with the DPP to the seven-year inquest that has failed to hand down findings, Jubelin explores why the investigation has "stalled" and what an independent inquiry needs to uncover. It’s a masterclass in homicide detective work and a heartbreaking plea for resolution in Australia’s most tragic cold case.
And a pay cheque for Gary

Jubes has always been paid for his commentary. Before it was by the NSW govt (NSWPOL), now it is by the media and book publishers.

imo

With all due respect, Jubes lost all credibility and his professionalism when he badgered a the wrong person. He is now a convicted criminal himself. I fail to see how he can manage to put himself out there about a case he himself mismanaged for 4 years. He never addressed any of the numerous inconsistencies with the ex foster parents.

That may be your opinion. It is not mine.
If you read his books he addressed a lot of things that have not been published in the unpaywalled media.

He also still stands by his reason for recording Paul Savage - to protect himself against any misrepresentations by Paul Savage. But he paid his $10,000 court-ordered fine for breaching the Surveillance Act.

imo

<modsnip>

I provided a number of submissions to the inquest but was unable to post on this site until now.

'Could Be' has posted you a photo of WT in Bali taken 6 weeks before his disappearance. What proof do we have that it was taken in Bali. It could be, pardon the pun. Does anyone have any proof of where it was taken?

Do you think breaking the law was OK? What about BS. What he did to him was not OK. BS and PS are both victims and this is a victim friendly site. The police hierarchy decided 'enough was enough' and hung him out to dry. They did the right thing not protecting him.

I don't think that description adequately describes the interview at all. They state that something is definitely happening in this case which is delaying the Coroners findings. It is a throwaway line but probably the most important one of the whole interview. The rest is simply a re hash of everything that someone who knows the case. He admits he has made some major mistakes. I think the piece is to try and get in front of the news and try and rescue his reputation. . My opinion is that history will not look kindly on Gary Jubelin when the truth is revealed.

I agree totally. It is good that he has admitted to making major mistakes. Because he has. And it cost NSW taxpayers a lot of money in compensation because of him.
