Australia Australia - William Tyrrell Disappeared While Playing in Yard - Kendall (NSW) #79

I know. I just dont see how she could have found somewhere that good to hide him that he was never found. In such a short rushed time.

She says he was taken, how does she know he was taken? What evidence does she have?

If it were my child i wouldnt rule anything out without evidence. I wouldnt want any stone left unturned

All imo
That’s a pretty natural reaction when you know he has been taken and hidden before. When they were currently in a dispute about reducing bio parent’s visitation. When her and many others had spent an amount of time searching and the distance was further than he could have walked in that time. That’s her believe on what happened, doesn’t mean she’s not open to other possibilities.

Can anyone attend the inquest? You just rock up to Lidcombr court this week?

  • #203
Yes it is. Wonder if we will hear how they apparently cleared him?
I'd like to hear how they cleared PS as well, but I doubt we will.

New Article ……..

Pedophile Frank Abbott – who was a person of interest in William’s disappearance but cleared by police – watched the inquest from a cell at Long Bay prison telling Ms Grahame he wanted to give further evidence.

That is certainly new information …. IMO
New reporting, anyway. And "further evidence"? FA hasn't given any evidence as far as I know. If the reporter's for real, he's missed telling a couple of great stories.

Could have been in Closed Court, we will never know.

The SMH also referred to this request by FA to give evidence but suggested that would be discussed later ….

Convicted sex offender Frank Abbott, who was investigated over William’s disappearance and subsequently charged with unrelated child sex offences, was present via video link from Long Bay prison. He requested to give evidence, which will be considered later.

They also use past tense when referring to FA as a POI …….. “was”

IMO

Well, they say he "was" investigated. Not that he "was" a POI.

There is a difference.

I suggest that the coroner hadn't made a decision about hearing FA when the SMH article was written, but that she did so this afternoon, in time for AAP.

I am not impressed by the news either …. Just trying to point out interesting media findings about the inquest…. And it has been reported by more than one outlet …. Starting this morning when they reported he wasn’t going to be called to give evidence…

Neither article says that the Coroner is going to hear his evidence. Both say he wants to give evidence. The SMH says it will be considered later ... I guess meaning that the request will be considered later?

Yes, I get that you are posting new things. Thank you.

I am just pointing out that the SMH does not say he "was" a POI (insinuating that he was cleared). It says that he was investigated. I read the article.

As I said before, they didn't hook him up to an AV setup in prison because he was cleared. Coronial POIs have a right to hear the inquest.

imo

Unless FA wants to say where he was that morning , I don't want to hear from him trying to throw his "mates" under the bus etc & I doubt the coroner does either.

But who really knows............

I noticed in the Dan Box/I Catch Killers podcast yesterday that Dan said he would be doing 11, maybe 12, podcast episodes. And it should take them up to Xmas. I wonder if he is going to go through each of the POIs.

Yes, I think FA wasn't being called, and so he protested. He does not like to be ignored. The coroner acknowledged his request and said she'd give her decision later . . . and, it seems, she did so. She confirmed that his evidence was not required by the hearing.

I must have missed the part where she said his evidence wasn't required. Where did you read that? Oh, I see you read it in Slouth's post. I will have to go back and find the article.
(I worked all day so I missed some stuff.)

I agree that it probably isn't required. His alibi didn't hold up. He tried to cast shade on GO. He is a known liar.
And a young boy's scream was heard by a more believable person (neighbour) near his place.

imo

I think I might have been hallucinating. I'm not seeing it in the AAP article now either.
