Australia Australia - William Tyrrell Disappeared While Playing in Yard - Kendall (NSW) #79

Apparently, according to this article, Coroner Grahame issued a warning in her court ... saying that she issues a stern warning to please behave in an appropriate manner. Maybe she is going to take action if something like that happens again.

Should have removed that person. Though maybe because it was outside court they can’t? She wouldn’t be happy if she saw the celebratory and well done posts on social media.

As Dan rightly said, too emotionally involved and not looking at the facts. imo

'concerned taxpayer' yells “Justice for William.”
“Why would you hurt a child? You should be ashamed of yourself!”

(eta thats paywalled; for those who have access)

The article appears to have a photo (footage) of the woman who was yelling. Kind of pointless ... it is not as if the journalists don't know the FM's name. And it is not as if they will breach an NPO by publishing her saying it.

imo

yeah I don't get it. She must know it'll never get into MSM. Is it some kind of thing she does for social media clout to certain people, or something? It seems weirdly parasocial, like thinking she's in some secret club of people who know her name or something, as if it really makes a difference. big whoop, lots of people know her name and manage not to use it where its inappropriate to do so. Its beyond my understanding, it helps nobody involved whatsoever.

In fact could such behaviour ultimately lead to them closing it and making the whole thing not public? I really hope not.

I managed to go to the Inquest for a while today. It has just finished for today, finishing with questioning the last witness for the day, Police Intelligence Analysist for Rosann, Sgt Robyn Ross.

I couldn’t understand the name that was announced as the witness for tomorrow morning…… it sounded like Mr Backshirt????

Thinking about it, perhaps that is the name of the truck driver….. just a guess.

Dr Jennifer Menzies, an expert in forensic anthropology, told the coroners court on Tuesday she couldn’t be sure whether William’s bones would have been preserved if they were in the search area.

Menzies had been asked about the degradation of juvenile bones by investigating police.

She said in court that juvenile bones decomposed faster than adult bones and exposure to the environment was a factor.

“[But] I cannot state with certainty whether his remains are likely to be preserved or otherwise,” she said. “I have not visited the site of deposition.”

Snr Const Adam Aitken said the cadaver dog Digger was used for days during the initial search across a number of private properties.

Aitken said the initial search did not cover the area examined intensively in 2021.

Snr Const Matthew Gates, from the NSW police dog unit, was involved in the searches that immediately followed William’s disappearance. He was certain a three-year-old could not have gone far on his own.

He said it was “extremely difficult” to navigate the bushland surrounding the foster grandmother’s home in Kendall and, on many occasions, his dog could not get through the scrub.

Snr Const Jost Preis told the court on Tuesday he used data from GPS trackers worn by police and others during the 2018 and 2021 searches to create a colour-coded map of the entire search area.

So much for there being ONE person of interest at the current time ....

Sgt Robyn Ross, the only data analyst on the strike force Rosann team over the past four years, told the court that by August 2024 there were over 1,700 persons of interest in the case. Of those, 732 were deemed low risk, while there were 79 outstanding names requiring analysis.

Given the volume of names, Ross said the team used government data to eliminate people without cars registered in their names and those without a license.

It is also a bit subjective to eliminate those without a license and those without a car registered in their name, because we know there is at least one person - Frank Abbott - who used other people's cars frequently.

Mr Craddock has said what is more likely, I think ....

“That sort of conduct is something that could, if established, amount to a punishable contempt of court.”

And we know that there were witnesses and cameras present at the time.

True SA , I doubt anyone who may be likely to abduct, murder, commits SA against children, be involved in petty theft etc cares about the law requiring you to have a valid license to drive a car.

As to the harassment of the FFC yesterday, I am not at all surprised this happened.

I am surprised it had not happened ( in full public view ;) with cameras ) earlier.

An example of bad reporting.
The people who were without cars registered in their names and those without a licence were only eliminated from one list…. Which was the list of people who were able to be linked to cars…. They were not eliminated as such, they were moved to another list, Sgt Robyn Ross explained that she most certainly realised that people could be driving without a licence, or driving someone else’s car. I heard this when I was at the Inquest today.

I'm amazed at what snippet the media run with some times, after hearing the evidence yourself than reading MSM reporting

The Police Intelligence Analyst today stated there were 1,709 Persons of Interest at the end of August 2024. For some reason the name of Persons of Interest was then changed to Persons Named, by Strike Force Rosann. 345 were removed after being investigated. After this, the Police Analysist couldn’t confirm her figures to confirm how many Persons Names remained….which could be in the vicinity of 723 people still to be investigated.

That's even more than the first strike force had, I think. Didn't they have 600+ names that had to be weeded through?
