During her walkthrough with detectives, the fgm described W as “bouncing out of his skull (an expression I’ve never heard before in my life), with happiness and joy for living,” adding that was the last time she saw him. A photo taken later that day when W went missing, shows a pair of FGM’s blue slippers positioned at the top of the two back steps leading to the backyard. In the final photos of W, FGM is seen wearing those same slippers, which raises questions. Why were they left there? It seems unlikely that she would have taken them off to go back inside, changed into outdoor shoes, and then returned outside. Could it be that she removed them at the top of the stairs after some time had passed—perhaps when deciding to “follow them down”? But that would mean she walked through the yard either bare foot or with socks on.
Personally I don’t like to wear my indoor slippers outside in the backyard and get them dirty, I much prefer to leave them inside when changing into more appropriate shoes.
Photographs create a permanent visual record of a scene, including the layout, objects, and their relationships, which can be invaluable in later analysis and reconstruction. I wonder how the placement of gramas slippers fit into the reconstruction of what happened that morning.
There are Certain words and expressions used in that context by the ff that I don’t think I will ever be able to erase from my memory.
Bouncing out of his skull (when describing a child at play)
Put him in the ground (referring to burying a parent)
Piece of rubbish on the road ( describing what an abductor is thinking when taking a child, that the child is a piece of trash).
IMO These are arguably among the most inappropriate and unnatural words to use given the context.
Can you link the Photo of the slippers where she left them please or an article that shows them.
I've never seen them off her feet in any article.
