OT, but I never understand why local media outlets, at least, can't at least keep a photo of a missing person permanently on their sites/papers, even if there is no news for an article. People forget, very quickly and move on. And then we've seen LE come out months, or a year later, asking people to jog their memories. Too late.

  • #324
I haven't seen any new articles on Salinas today. Anyone else seen anything new today?

Nope, and I'm actively looking... obsessively. :-/

ETA: I may have missed mention of this - I need to catch up (or quit my job so I can keep up. ;) ) - Adrienne's Tia finally responded on her FB page... *sad face*

I agree. Even Walmart has found it in their cold little corporate heart to provide the missing children bulletin boards in their stores. And yes, I look at them every single time I shop there.

If I read a post, then answered it, I'd be responding a lot more than I do. I apologize. I read a lot and think of lots to say and usually by the time I finish reading the 40 some odd posts, I forget everything I was going to say and my mind is a blank.

But I will say you guys are doing some great sleuthing, some great speculating based on the facts as we know them and are all helping to keep this thread alive and as long as you do that, Adrienne's case won't go cold so fast. Everyone here is trying to give it our all.

I thought the Do know/Don't know list was great. Due to faulty reporting, we don't know what we really know and what we don't. LOL

Here's to hoping we get some new news pretty quick cuz we are just confused by what we have.

How did I miss the do know/do not know list... off to find it.

Once again, my brain keeps going to Lauren and Kortne, the cases alike in so many ways anyway, and now also in trying to manage a confusing timeframe of an evening packed full of events in a mere few hours. All three ladies were "partying" to some extent, all three seemed to have things going on in their personal lives that were difficult or just unusual for them (i.e Lauren being out without her longtime BF, Kortne's BF being in jail, Adrienne having a fight or fights with her possible BF and wrecking her car) and then just...vanishing. I do not think Lauren's BF is guilty and Kortne's has the best alibi. Right now, I don't believe Adrienne's BF knows what happened to her.

In my view, though, Adrienne's case as we know it makes her the most likely to have been a victim to a stranger, rather than someone she was with that evening. If she was truly alone in her car and when she was calling the cab company, then I do not think someone from the party, for instance, caught up with her and harmed her.

I am just in dread of this case going the way of the other two (unsolved, women remain missing) or worse, Katelyn Markham, another somewhat similar case, whose body was found in March after 18+ months, and still no arrest.

What we KNOW:

1. Adrienne and her boyfriend left a party at her apartment sometime Friday night (early Saturday morning) and drove to her apartment. They were arguing and continued to argue when they got to boyfriend's place. Then they came back but she jumped out of the car a couple of blocks before getting home.

What we DON'T KNOW:

Whose car were they in? Were they in his car or her car? If they were in her car how did he get back to his place? What time did this occur?

What we KNOW:

2. Adrienne's roommates said she left to go back to the boyfriend's place because she was "upset over the argument" and wanted to "talk to him". They say she packed a "big purse" and took it with her, indicating it was an overnight bag.

What we DON'T KNOW:

What time did this occur? Was it at 3:00 a.m. as initially reported or was it at 3:30 a.m. as later reported? Or was it at 3:40 a.m. ? What was in the "big purse". Was her wallet in there or did she leave it behind?

What we KNOW:

3. At 3:44 a.m. a woman called 911 and reported seeing a vehicle meeting Adrienne's car's description hit the median on Rio Salada Parkway. The woman referred to "they" when asked how many people were in the car. She said the car "sped" away from the site of impact. The woman further stated she 'thought' she saw someone in the passenger seat.

What we DON'T KNOW:

We don't know if the woman caller was alone or driving. She could have been with someone else who has a better recollection of who was in the car. We don't know if 911 dispatched an officer to the scene. We don't know who was in or who was driving Adrienne's car.

What we KNOW:

4. We know that Adrienne's car had two flat tires and some front end damage and was locked and abandoned a block or two away from the site of the accident. There was no sign of a struggle or foul play. The "big purse" was not in the car.

What we DON'T KNOW:

Who left the car there. How long it took to get the car there. Why it was left in that particular spot. How someone as small as Adrienne could manage to drive an impaired vehicle with two flat tires. Why whoever was driving the car didn't stop at the site of the accident.

What we KNOW:

5. We know that it has been 'reported by media' that Adrienne went back to the apartment following the accident and changed clothes before leaving again and also left behind her "keys and wallet".

What we DON'T KNOW:

We don't know if this is true. No one living there has verified this, to our knowledge. One roommate said they were too busy partying to notice if she had returned. We don't know if she left a key or keys. We don't know what identification of credit cards were in her wallet. We don't know why someone says she returned home and changed unless they saw her or saw that she had left the clothes they had seen her wearing somewhere noticeable. We don't know if she had money with her or other forms of identification. We don't know what was in the "big purse".

What we KNOW:

6. We know that sometime between 4:10 a.m. and 4:17 a.m. ELEVEN calls were made from Adrienne's cell phone to her boyfriend's cell. We know that no v-mails were left.

What we DON'T KNOW:

We don't know why she made so many calls in such a short time. This would have been more than one call per minute, eleven times. We don't know why she didn't leave voicemails. We don't know where she was when she made these calls. We don't know why the boyfriend didn't answer.

What we KNOW:

7. At 4:23 a.m. a call was made to a cab company from Adrienne's phone asking a cab to meet her at the AM/PM store.

What we DON'T KNOW:

We don't know for sure if she was the one who made the call. We don't know if this is the only cab company she called. We don't know why she wanted the cab company to meet her at the AM/PM store. We don't know where she was when the call was made. We don't know where she wanted the cab driver to take her.

What we KNOW:

8. At 4:27 she sent a text to her boyfriend saying she was "coming over".

What we DON'T KNOW:

We don't know where she was when the text was sent. We don't know if it was her who sent the text. We don't know why she never mentioned the accident in her calls or text.

What we KNOW:

9. 5:00 a.m. This the time Adrienne was reported to have been last "seen".

What we DON'T KNOW:

Who saw her. Where she was when she was seen. How accurate this time and information was. What she was doing. What she was wearing.

What we KNOW:

10. At 5:05 a.m. the cab driver called Adrienne on her phone.

What we DON'T KNOW:

We don't know what the conversation was when he called. We don't know for sure that he spoke with her.

What we KNOW:

11. At 5:06 am Adrienne called the cab driver telling him "she would be there in a minute".

What we DON'T KNOW:

We don't know what the cab driver said. We don't know where Adrienne was when this call was made. We don't know why she called him back one minute later after he had called her. We don't know for sure it was Adrienne who made the call. We don't know what his response was to her when she said she would be there in a minute.

What we KNOW:

12. 5:07 a.m. The cab driver called Adrienne's phone and the call went to her voice mail.

What we DON'T KNOW:

We don't know why she didn't answer. We don't know why he was calling her back only one minute after she had called him to say she was only one minute away. We don't know if her battery died or if the phone had been turned off.

What we KNOW:

13. Her father found her car abandoned at 2 PM on Father's day, approximately 32 hours after the last known call from the cab driver.

What we DON'T KNOW:

What happened to Adrienne Salinas after her last call to the cab driver at 5:06 AM.

I'm in the same boat as Seajay. Usually I'm only here while I'm at work, so depending on how busy I am, it takes a while for me to keep up and contribute to the conversation. It also doesn't really help that I'm on the other side of the world in pretty much the opposite time zone as everyone else, so usually I have a lot of reading to do to catch up. I'll often find a post and want to reply to it, only to look up and find I'm still 5 pages behind, so I'm not sure if someone has already responded. Then by the time I finally get to the end, I can't remember all the things I wanted to reply to.

You are all doing such a great job. It makes me happy to know that there are so many who are doing all they can to try and find the missing. Every contribution helps, with different opinions and perspectives it makes it a lot easier to work out all the possible outcomes of a case, even if we don't have enough information to work out which is more likely than another. It's also really helped me having a few locals posting here, I see some of you signed up just after Adrienne went missing, so I hope you stick around once we find her - which we will.

Keep up the good work all, I definitely appreciate all the effort you're putting in. It's great to see new members getting so actively involved. :)

Now... to find Adrienne. Hoping for some more news SOON.

This is making me think more and more about the Circle K clerk who remarked that the Adrienne Missing Flier was the 5th one she had posted in 2 months.

Something needs to be done to improve the safety of this area.

If I hadn't been so saddened by Adrienne's disappearance and found this forum to get involved in I wouldn't have a clue as to how many bodies were found in the lake and how many girls/guys go missing.

But the alarming fact that one body was found and another girl went missing in the SAME day and same general area should be VERY alarming to anyone who lives there or has a son/daughter in ASU or who just is a caring and compassionate person.

I would think officials and LE in Tempe are very concerned!

And if they aren't they sure as heck should be!!!!

I work in Tempe and am on the road at 330am daily. I couldn't even tell you how many people I see walking in those early hours. The population of young people in this area is so concentrated. I see young adults with backpacks, people waiting for buses, people riding bikes in dimly lit areas, etc. LE can't be everywhere, especially when there is such a concentration of people.

Crime in this area is higher, IMO, compared to other suburban areas in which I've lived, say outside of Seattle or in the Bay Area. But, with LE's concentration on drugs and immigration, some groups get lower priority. That said, I don't feel unsafe at that time of day and I would imagine the pedestrians and bikers don't really either since they're out there every day in such numbers.

I've only paid attention peripherally to those found in the lake and have usually been of the opinion they were drinking/partying and made a bad choice.

Snipped by me - exactly the same problem I'm having here! There are so many threads that interest me at the moment, it's almost impossible to keep on top of all of the details of each so I end up reading a lot and not being able to post a great deal. I love catching up with everyone's thoughts and theories though, so please keep it up.

I really hope we have some more news on Adrienne soon. I'm not convinced of any connection with other recent cases but it all sets a worrying background for this disappearance.

Praying AS is not found in Tempe Town Lake today during 4th of July festivities

:(

Ok guys...here's some google maps showing the distance between all known points.

Here's the google maps For those of you interesting in the time frame between Annovedwin's body being dropped in the street (RIP :() to AS disappearance and possible routes and distance That D.R. George might have taken to and from abducting AS:

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372952075.104150.jpg
This is route 1 from location of ABB's body to location of AS disappearance. It takes 13 Minutes.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372952197.363874.jpg
This is route 2 from the area of ABB's body to location of AS disappearance. It takes 12 minutes.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372952277.853076.jpg
This is route 3 from area of ABB's body to location of AS disappearance. It takes 12 minutes and is the shortest route according to mileage.

Now, these are the distances between the location of AS wreck to her car drop to her apartment to her track to the am pm.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372952410.298339.jpg
Route 2 is most likely the route AS took to drop her car from wreck at 3:44 am to W brown and Roosevelt. It takes 1 minute in a working vehicle traveling the speed limit.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372952504.753774.jpg
It is a 5 minute walk for AS from the area she dropped her car back to her Apartment.

  • #335
(continued)

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372952593.694030.jpg
It is a 7 minute walk from AS apartment to the AMPM.

Now IF DR George abducted Adrienne, these would be the possible routes he would use to get her back south to his apartment/area:

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372952731.684942.jpg

It's about a 13 minute drive using all routes back to DR George's area.

I fear if DR George put AS in the lake he utilized a bridge in this location:

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372952928.397595.jpg

He could then easily hit the 202-to-101-to-60 to get away quick via interstate :(

Sadly I think he would have kept her longer than that night - perhaps up to his arrest on June 25... This means he could have traveled anywhere with her and kept her anywhere in AZ... I wish I could see the location he was arrested in his (douglas ray george) arrest report. Ugh.

just wanted to post that i'm still here, waiting for new news on adrienne. i feel like i'm walking in circles with my thoughts since there hasn't been any solid info released. hopefully we'll hear more soon & i'll start posting again. just wanted to let ya'll know that i haven't forgotten about Adrienne and i still refresh this thread 100 times a day to check for new info.

  • #338
bringing this forward. all of the info in this timeline is here because of MSM articles. i haven't put anything here that reflects my own thoughts or opinions.. just trying to keep the "facts" (even if MSM has them wrong) in focus.

Saturday, June 15th:

3:00am – Last seen by roommates when she left to go to boyfriend’s home. (1) Her apartment is on Brown & Hardy (as relayed to us by WS members Goblinsolo & 2Hip2BSquare, found by watching news videos and doing a visual of the apartments in the area) previous reports reported her apartment as being on Ash Avenue (6)
3:44am – Police received a 911 call that Adrienne’s car had hit a median at Ash & Rio Salado Parkway. Passerby saw car driving erratically behind her, so she moved over and let the car pass. (4) Adrienne’s car was then driven less than a mile to Brown and Roosevelt. Police say that from there, she walked a ¼ mile back to her apartment where she changed clothes, leaving behind her wallet and keys. (9) Witness says “they” in her 911 call. Operator asked how many people she thought was in the car and the witness said she thought there were two, she thought she saw one in the passenger seat. (10).
4:10-4:17am – Adrienne’s cell phone called the boyfriend 11 times, but he didn’t answer. (4)
4:23am – Adrienne called the cab company requesting to be picked up at AMPM. Nearest driver was about 20 minutes away. Cab driver’s name is Tom.
4:30am – Person driving to work found naked woman’s body in the street. Not sure if this is related. Near McClintock and Baseline. (2) – this woman has since been identified and her boyfriend has been arrested for murder. Still unknown if related to Adrienne’s disappearance, but I’m keeping this on the timeline just in case, because of the timing.
4:43 or 4:47am – Text sent from Adrienne’s phone to boyfriend’s phone said she was going to his house. (1 & 4)
5:00am – Last seen near Brown & Roosevelt streets. (3) Another reports states last seen at this location at 4:30am (7) -- not sure who she was last seen BY, or if this goes off pings, but this is also the same location her car was found.
5:04am – Cab driver (Tom) called Adrienne to make sure she was headed to the gas station. (11)
5:05am - Cab driver (Tom) called Adrienne to make sure she was headed to the gas station (again). (11) Previous reports indicated: Police said Adrienne called a cab company, but the cabbie couldn’t find her at a Tempe convenience store. (4) “Salinas asked for a driver to meet her at the AMPM gas station at the intersection of Hardy & University. Investigators told CBS 5 she never made it there” (5). LE saw surveillance of cab driver at AMPM but there was no sign of Adrienne there. LE subsequently questioned the cab driver and searched his home. AMPM is less than ¼ mile from Adrienne’s apartment. (9)
5:06am – Adrienne called the cab driver (Tom) saying she’d be there in a minute.
5:07am – Cab driver (Tom) called Adrienne again, looking for her, but the phone went to voicemail. (11) Her phone was turned off (1) or died (8).

Sunday, June 16th:

2:00pm – AS’s father found her car two blocks away from her apartment. (8)
Her Father called LE that afternoon. (8)

Other known info:
After leaving her disabled car, she walked less than a ¼ mile to her home and changed clothes and left again, leaving her wallet and keys behind. (9)
LE has questioned the cab driver and searched his home. Say he’s not a suspect at this time. (9) LE also took a DNA sample from cab driver (11).
LE did a sweep of Tempe Town Lake and found nothing. (9)
LE says that BF has been cleared and has fully cooperated. (10)
Cab procedures: "In a place like this, they would get out, look around, make sure the person wasn't in the store," Simon said. He said his son did just that but never saw Salinas. (11)

Thanks to Amandareckonwith & the crankycrankerson photobucket. This is an invaluable tool for looking back at all the media, video's and logs of the case. Thanks for all your work!

Her family is in so much pain, the video's of her mom and father just tear your heart out. My love goes out to them.

I went back to look at the boyfriend and roommates video's.

The roommate early videos;
The body language on the roommate is "goofy", I am far from a body language person but I can't get over the giddiness of the earlier video's. They are young and this might explain the lack of concern or maybe she just comes off as "spacey", like this is a joke that Adreinne is missing. From those more experienced or folks out there in tune with body language, what are you picking up from her, if anything?

The boyfriend; He seems like a serious type, I find him concerned and believable.

Also, I hadn't seen it mentioned in the thread that the group Find Me is involved. A group comprised of current and former law enforcement, handwriting and body language-linguistic experts, dive teams, search dogs, and airplanes. They also have psychics.

Thank you for working this angle. Keep it up!
I personally cant follow this connection at this time due to work & family responsibilities this busy weekend but will be watching for further developments.
You are a saint!
