On the flip religious side considering that LVD believed she was sent by God to be the head honcho of the 144,000 chosen ones and in God's eyes she was the same as his prophet Nephi who was supposedly authorized by God to kill Laban so if the circumstances warranted it I could see her not wanting to give her brother AC the glory of killing CV which she believed was her destined mission.

I'm trying real hard to think like a deranged radical religious woman.
IMO.

I see religion as a side piece. It fed her narcissism, and justifies killing people in her way.

But I definitely don't see LVD on the same scale as Wanda Barzee, who partnered with Brian David Mitchell to kidnap Elizabeth Smart. Wanda Barzee was deep into whatever cult fiction BDM fed her.

So....

CV may never have known LVD had his phone.

She made a point of saying he was always forgetting things, took multiple trips to leave the house (I wasn't clear if she was referring to JJ or CV) but truth in the lies, perhaps LVD deliberately sent JJ out to the car without his backpack so CV would have to come back for it, you know leaving JJ in a running car. (How many times had JJ, left in a running car, taken off? Let me guess. Zero.)

We really have no idea what happened or how it happened. T was primed to say whatever her mom told her to say and we can't ask her now because LVD and CD made sure of it. All we know is they planned to kill him and lured him into the house and may have created drama to paint CV as the aggressor.

I doubt CV ever swung that bat.

JMO
Agreed. IMO, if CV had swung the bat AC would have been in worse shape. Like stitches needed.

Found some law around this - rule 404b (re. prior bad acts)

Evidence of prior bad acts committed by a defendant is usually inadmissible at trial. Ariz. R. Evid. 404(b); see Hughes, 102 Ariz. at 122, 426 P.2d at 390; State v. Garcia, 96 Ariz. 203, 205, 393 P.2d 668, 670 (1964). However, evidence of prior bad acts may be admissible to establish "motive, intent, absence of mistake or accident, identity and common scheme or plan." Hughes, 102 Ariz. at 122, 426 P.2d at 390; Ariz. R. Evid. 404(b).[1]

Wouldn’t that have to be prior bad acts before Charles? Nothing proven. Other deaths came after.

I see the connection of LVD with Mitchell.
Both of them were LDS and claimed to be visionary prophets of God.

2:26 p.m. Werther says the device “clearly departed the scene well before the 911 call.” Either the shooting happened much later than we were told or the device and the person bearing it, Ms. Vallow, left well before the 911 call was made, he says.'

A few extracts from our WS timeline ID - Joshua Vallow & Tylee Ryan, Rexburg, Sept 2019 TIMELINE ONLY - *NO DISCUSSION*

4 Feb 2019Fearing for his life, CV files an Order of Protection against Lori and told his attorneys, “I want to make sure that everyone knows that if something happens to me, Lori & Alex did it.” The order also requests protection for JJ and says Lori is a danger to him. The order says Lori is not to possess firearms and must participate in counseling. The order further says Lori is to stay away from CV’s Gilbert home, CV’s Gilbert workplace & JJ’s school, Lauren’s Institute for Education in Gilbert, AZ even if CV is not present at any of those locations (Protection Order, Fox 10 Phoenix).
Now that breaks my heart. 😔

Immaterial but now I'm curious.

At 4:50.50 in this video, she's arriving at the Walgreens. Again, I slowed it down to .25x playback speed. She has something on her feet. Black sandals? There's a band across the top of her feet.

She then puts the red and blue flip flops somewhere off camera and leaves carrying only the yellow ones.

Disturbingly normal behavior for someone whose husband was just shot.

Lorichalance.

If love to know what she filled that poor employee's ears with.

Maybe she put her courtroom wedding band (hair scrunchy) on one foot when she entered the store. Perhaps the store had posted a “no shoes, no service” sign and that versatile and handy item was her workaround.

She texted Alex that they would both be like Nephi, so basically two killers. Or was she referring to the conspiracy?

CV filed for divorce a couple of weeks before changing his beneficiary so it was probably suggested by his divorce attorney as that is pretty typical.
I wonder if he was thinking of divorce or actually filed? Because he changed his beneficiary months before he died. And if he had filed for divorce, the lawyer is obligated by law to notify the other party. And Lori didn’t know.
If she knew he had filed for divorce, it makes sense he would change the beneficiary and Lori is smart enough to know that. If she knew, then why kill him?
It couldn’t have interfered with a marriage to Chad as she had already been divorced three times.

Let’s hope that today we will finally see the “it was probably Ned, before WE GOT RID OF HIM” text message, preferably in enlarged format on the screen for everyone to see, plus the bodycam footage of a distressed Charles.
We need some bombshells.

Let’s go Treena!

AC was missing that old goose egg.
Which raises the question -- how did AC hurt his head?

Did LVD grab a dish towel, grab the bat and give him a poor college try? Just enough force to break the skin?

I wish we knew how it was all supposed to happen.

I hate that, as much justified apprehension/fear CV had, because of how cray cray low-low had gotten, he couldn't have imagined she'd try something with witnesses present, namely T and JJ.

And if any party of the bat story is true, CV was only worried for T if she caused injury with it. I don't think his concern was for himself. At all.

Further, if LVD checked herself out instead, I think CD and T could have gone on to have a good relationship. LVD was never not the problem between them.

He (CV) planned to have breakfast with JJ.

Meanwhile LVD knew he was never going to see that meal.

She seems to be a little confused. Most religions accept that God has the power to decide who lives and who dies. LVD sends to think that makes HER God. But she's wrong. She's just a mere mortal deciding who lives and who dies, not because she's a god of any sort. Disordered humanoid liking anyone and everyone who gets in the way of her high maintenance vision of herself.

Her greatest suffering to date? That her prison cell doesn't have a wall of mirrors.

Narcissus.

Maybe that's why she disappeared for two months. So he couldn't serve her.

She knew she had to kill him before he could divorce her.

After Charles filed for divorce in February 2019 he was trying to serve Lori with the papers, but she disappeared to avoid it (IIRC, MG mentioned this specific reason). She even skipped a Preparing a people conference on that account. Later Charles wrote to her to reconcile and he eventually called it off.
