LVD won't have to testify. She's been testifying all along.

I can't wait until trial's end to hear from jurors. Once they learn the full context.

LVD's ego is uncontainable.

JMO
Really hoping that the absence of key information (deaths of Tylee and JJ after move to Rexburg AND discovery of their bodies in new hubby’s backyard after months of LVD’s lies about their whereabouts) doesn’t mislead jurors or lead them into believing the State has for some inexplicable reason left out big puzzle pieces that jurors assume must be relevant. Jurors could blame the State for those “parts of the story not being told” and conclude that the State for some reason was not able to find those parts so cannot without them prove their case.

Kids could not have disappeared were CV alive to protect them by searching for them and involving LE if they were kept from him.

Laughable. LVD tells the judge she'll review some papers -- says she'll "try" -- if she has time.

Ha.

ALL she has is time. Couple's three life sentences. But those aside, it's not like she's GOING OUT for lunch. Eat your box meal, Lor. You have time. Read up.

Time is tight when there is candy-makeup that needs reapplying and a $400 Pebbles-ponytail to tighten.

Again I’m not able to keep up because life gets in the way :) Hoping someone can fill me in… This morning Judge asked about an email state sent Friday afternoon regarding subpoena to Bobby Vallow (Charles’ brother). I don’t think he was on either witness list but I’m guessing that defense was the one who subpoenaed him but can’t imagine why LVD would want to do that. From what I gathered he won’t be allowed to testify and that’s probably because he wasn’t on a list and the subpoena went out too late but I’m not sure about that. Anyway, can anyone shed any light on what LVD thinks he could add to her case?

Just catching up on posts, so this may already be answered. IF Lori testifies, then her past convictions will be revealed. There was a motion about this and there were arguments whether all three convictions should be revealed or just two. So in short, as well as opening a door in cross examination, if she testifies, the jury will get to hear about her past convictions.
If she does testify then after the prosecution does their direct who would cross examine her?

Megan does a lot of work to help people who have childhood trauma. She does it all for free. She shares her trauma in hopes of helping others.
I heard Megan is going to be on WS Live tonight with you & Insightful1, is that right? Awesome!

If she testifies, then she does so for defense. So her conferring attorney would ask the direct questions (prepared by LVD) and the prosecution would cross examine.

How does a subpoena get served as a mix up with an exhibit? Wow

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I imagine you're right, but I sort of prefer my mental picture -- Lawyer Lor with her trendy red spectacles, asking a question, then vaulting over the court reporter into the witness box while simultaneously pocketing her lawyery glasses, answering her own question, then cartwheeling back in the style of Jodi Arias.

If Crazy Train A meets Crazy Train B.....

Oh, polite Lor, calling to collect life insurance, so polite.

Soft spoken like...mmmmm.... a freakin' actress.

Are you aware of who the primary beneficiary is?

It's me.

Oh, Lori, Lori, Lori, no, it's not.

You just had your brother killed for a policy for which you aren't the beneficiary.

Agent: I'm so sorry for your loss.

That's the one thing Lori isn't. Sorry.

Ever.

Well, until she found out she wasn't getting any money.

Then she was sorry. About that.

Lauren@ Hidden True Crime is hilarious imitating LVD and her 'okays".
LVD and Sarena Sharpe.
Lauren is one of my favorites.

Good point about Charles Vallow having to be dead before JJ and Tylee were killed. He would have had legal claim to JJ. And kept after LVD for custody.

So coldly calculated and premeditated.

JMO, but it seems like a battle between podcasts (family ones) is starting to begin. For me it's become all about $$$, and less about justice... and THAT'S SAD!!

In all reality, just who did LVD surround herself with leading up to ANY of these attempted murders/murders? Where is any of their facts? All JMO.:(

Listen to Lori unload on the life insurance agent.

No money. We five children. I can't believe he'd do that. And a son with autism.

Good on them recording this call.

Hope the jury is taking it all in.
