Thanks, I don't have the timeline down.
If I recall correctly - the nutty with the truck & plane ticket & the payroll account & getting rid of CVs stuff and locking him out of his house & hiding at a hotel and such was in late Jan and then is when LVD disappeared for 58 days. CV filed for divorce around 2/2/19 and changed the insurance about a week later.

What is Treena Kay's strategy not asking CY why she didn't dig deeper when interviewing LVD?
Kay gets CY to admit what appears to be her negligence then quickly moves on.

CY accepting everything LVD said at face value is infuriating.
imo
IMO, CY made assumptions about who was the victim and who was the abuser before hearing all the facts.

I've been through abuse advocate training, and in that role -- when acting as an advocate for a domestic abuse survivor -- it is extremely important to believe them and take them at their word, rather than questioning the details of their story (since trauma can affect how the mind creates and recalls memories). Re-watching this interview, CY treats LVD like a DV victim. MOO.

And all because LVD wanted to be gone for 58 days. So she provoked a fight --

CV must have been exhausted. Nothing was ever as it seemed.

House of mirrors.

LVD was "unaffected", "chattered" the whole way back to her car.

LVD: "Do you know how people should act in a stressful situation?"

Notice she says "should" --- not "would" or "tend to" or "will often"
This is the second time during this trial where LVD has said something that's made it clear she was playing a role -- that her behavior on the day of CV's death was carefully planned and executed for the benefit of others.

I'm 12 minutes behind... CV's cellphone is being introduced.

I wonder why LVD took his phone and I wonder why she told anyone she stayed the fight by taking his phone...

She overplayed it.

Wanting to look like the normal, balanced one.

Shape-shifter. Is she ever not playing a role? Is she a 'self' under all that? Or just a series of wardrobe changes throughout life?

Do all the people in her head know each other?

We're back to "okay".

LV is so out of her depth as a non-lawyer. She may be able to say some things that are ok but when the CW objects and it’s sustained, she doesn’t know what to do. Her ego is really problematic.

House of mirrors.
Literally. One of the books I read about the case said that it wasn't just the room that Charles died in that was mirrored that way for Lori to dance in - it claimed she'd had a room set up like that in every home she'd had since Colby was small, and she'd dance in it for hours every day, watching herself.

While Charles was satisfying her need for money and attention, it suited her. But once she decided he wasn't good enough, but she still wanted his money, there was only one way things were going to go.

Hey, Lori, first responders can be calm, it's their job. Your husband and the father/stepfather/adopted father of your child(ren) was just killed by your brother. You weren't a first responder.

You picked the wrong act.

Too bad that the rental car was not part of the search warrant since it WAS at the scene at time of shooting…
AND 2-3 witnesses/potential witnesses fled the scene in it after the shooting…
AND it was the victim’s rental car.

Can you *even* imagine?--

Lori is having an affair.
She lures her husband into the house.
She takes his phone.
Her brother murders her husband.
Then Lori has the GALL to demand to let her/Tylee into the house because suddenl6 she needs her meds?

Lori will TAKE even when it seems like that's nothing left for her to take.

Supreme taker.

Heated.

LVD trying very hard to get Tylee's story from this witness. Rapid fire objections from the State, including "violation of a pre-trial agreement" (iiuc). LVD asks for a sidebar. Denied.

Does anyone think the witness is lying about LVD chattering the whole way back to the car? And that LVD was actually looking quietly out the car window?

I object.

I think LVD likes the sound of her voice.

Okay, okay, okay.

Why is Lori hunched over at the lectern? Is she trying to be Columbo?
