Starts out with prosecutor notifying judge that LVD was serving subpoenas on next of kin, including Larry. Having his address and filing it is violation of victim's rights.

LVD claims it was an oversight, just a mistake, even though she did sign the subpoenas.

Adam Cox testified that after CV arrived at LVD's house and sent him a text that Alex was there he texted back to CV that "they have a plan" and CV responded "absolutely".
Adam continued texting CV after that and never heard back from him.
What I don't get is if Adam was so concerned about CV's safety did he ever say why he didn't make sure that CV was alright before he and his son left to visit a relative and then a friend?
imo
Pretty sure that Adam has said that he thought perhaps CV was tring to reconcile with LVD again and that she might have told CV not to speak to him.

LVD shouldn't be subpoenaing anyone who is next of kin, whom she's not allowed to contact. She was supposed to work through the State iiuc.

We are live.

LVD is violating victim's rights. Subpoeanaing family members whose addresses she apparently shouldn't have, shouldn't be contacting, and aren't on her witness lists.

LVD claims she didn't subpoena them, says it was an oversight.

State says she SIGNED THEM.

LVD says she didn't see who all she was signing, signed a stack.
Do we think this was just to keep those individuals from watching or being present at the trial?

Seems more recent. With her, who knows.

To make it appear she has witnesses and a case?

Am I understanding this right? LVD has a witness she can't find?

Scratch that -- THREE. Three witnesses she hasn't been able to locate????

It didn't across Adam's mind that their plan was to murder Charles.

Judge says the State will rest on Thursday/Monday. Tells LVD she has run out of time. He gives her a day or two but they still could be procluded.

Judge doesn't believe her witnesses have anything relevant to add.

Judge: does he know what he would testify to?

LVD could not be more vague.

Lori is vastly unprepared to put on her defense. She seems to think preparation occurs while the trial is proceeding and doesn't understand the State has the right to see evidence and prepare for it before it appears in court.

In other news, LVD has ragtie curls today.

Perhaps she should have spent less time on her hair on more on preparing for trial.

Based upon how it is going so far, if I were working assisting with LVD's defense, I'd want the right to use a pseudonym.

One of the witnesses she wants to call is Barry Cox, her father. But she can't even serve him that she knows of.

Ugh. Her voice. Use your diaphragm, Lori. This airy, baby voice is so transparent.

Questioning witness about the threatening messages she claims CV sent her. Witness never saw them, read not involved in the extractions

She's back to testifying.

LVD: Are you aware that CV took my phone and I had to replace it? Objection, sustained.

LVD: are you aware that, when he gave it backk, I kept both phones? Objection, sustained

Wants to call Zachary Cox to impeach Adam, but can't name a single specific when asked.

Possibly she's seen too many Hollywood courtroom scenes where a surprise witness rushes in at the last minute and drops a critical piece of evidence, everyone gasps, and the judge throws down his gavel and declares the defendant free to go immediately.

That's the impression I get. Like some of those old Wild West court proceedings on the front porch of the jail, where the judge yells out, "Hey you, Blankety-Blank, trying to hide behind your horse, get your tail up here and testify!"

Could these three be underground?

Lori's questioning is bordering on "insane".

I am baffled that LVD keeps trying to convince everyone that her demeanor on that day was completely normal. Your brother just shot your husband, and you're acting like it's just some inconsequential misunderstanding... like someone in the household just "oops" accidentally brought home the wrong kind of milk from the supermarket, but it's fine, we're fine, I can't believe people are making such a big deal out of this!

MOO.
