IMO Tylee was just a teenager. It's not unexpected to be rebellious at that age. Allegedly she also had some health issues, including anxiety. She probably was unhappy in Rexburg, being cut off from everyone. I imagine Lori getting along well with her some of the time and being horrible to her when she (Lori) was in a bad mood. Similar to Lori being affectionate with JJ (according to the nanny) just days before they murdered him. I don't think Tylee knew what was coming to her.

ETA: Since your post was about Charles and Tylee, I agree. Lori probably badmouthed Charles at any opportunity. Maybe she didn't do it in front of JJ. I'm wondering if Tylee knew about Charles being a zombie and if she believed any of it. Obviously Tylee wasn't part of the inner cult because there weren't any reports that she took part in castings.

ETA2: Adam or Zac mentioned that days after Charles' murder, Tylee was seen talking to Lori's mom and crying. Was it related to Charles?

3 years ago Megan Conners sat down with John @ Mormon Stories.
What a courageous woman who even went to the FBI after her cousin Stacy Cox ( Lori's sister) was found in a diabetic coma which led to her death.
It's a very long video, over 4 hrs where MC covers so much about her life,the Coxs, especially Janice and Barry, LVD as a teenager and through the years, marriages etc.
It's well worth the time ( bookmark and watch in sections) because you'll gain so much about MC and the family back stories.
I gather we'll be seeing MC again when LVD goes on trial for conspiracy to kill Brandon Boudreaux and as someone who has admired Megan but after listening to her here I have gained a new sense of admiration and respect for her and learned a lot as she filled in quite a few holes
Before viewing this video I knew bits and pieces of her life and her relationship with LVD from her videos and/or her as a guest on other programs but here she laid it all out on a timeline.
I usually try and timestamp videos but this one truly needs to be listened to from start to finish.
An amazing woman who is to be commended for coming forward and dealing with everything head-on and doesn't skirt any issues,

I'm not sure she knew three days after Charles' murder that they would be moving. Lori's family claimed they didn't know where Lori had gone.

AC had disappeared for a few days and when he returned and was asked where was he, he told MC that he went shopping with Stacy's credit card, golf clubs etc.
Stacy was cremated and I heard nothing about an autopsy.
In the same story-line MC said she called the FBI.

At some point during/after the string of deaths by AC,LVD and CD Megan again mentioned calling the FBI and was told to call the local police.
I don't know if MC called the FBI once after Stacy's death, or after TR & JJ's deaths or twice about AC?

She now believes that AC caused Stacy Cox's death and that LVD, CD and ZP very well could have been involved in AC's death.
I was blown-away on everything Barry Cox, yikes.

What LVD had was a charm or charism and she used religion IMO to pull AlexC under her "spell", so to speak. Using his religion -- by concoction this darks and lights, Nephi, Zombies overworld/underworld. Completely upending another person's north and south. With money, religious favor, threat, power, whatever it took.

I don't think anyone around LVD died of natural causes.

When the lifesaving and hard-to-detect drug is used to kill, doctors may be unprepared to consider the deaths homicides, which can complicate criminal cases.

It's all related when it comes to LVD.
Your belief that she wouldn't be able to turn-off her religious delusions if they were her core foundation is an excellent conclusion, one which I have never heard before and agree with.

So far I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere that according to Tass the juror, no one knew that LVD was incarcerated during the trial and wore that zapper belt around her waist.

Alex wasn't even particularly religious before Lori and Chad gave him a key role in their conspiracy. He was excommunicated from the LDS church twice. In the beginning Lori was telling fellow cult members that Alex hadn't lived multiple lives like the rest of them. All that changed a few months later.
