LVD was dancing on a beach in Hawaii with Chad Daybell within a couple of months of knowing for a fact that HER CHILDREN were dead. You are 100% right about her ability to detach and not give a 'you know what' about anyone but her narcissistic self.

She tells people who give reasons for why Tylee couldn't have killed JJ, "You weren't there". So she's admitting SHE was? She keeps throwing her daughter under the bus.

IMO, the woman is the epitome of manipulative evil.

IMO Tylee was just a teenager. It's not unexpected to be rebellious at that age. Allegedly she also had some health issues, including anxiety. She probably was unhappy in Rexburg, being cut off from everyone. I imagine Lori getting along well with her some of the time and being horrible to her when she (Lori) was in a bad mood. Similar to Lori being affectionate with JJ (according to the nanny) just days before they murdered him. I don't think Tylee knew what was coming to her.

ETA: Since your post was about Charles and Tylee, I agree. Lori probably badmouthed Charles at any opportunity. Maybe she didn't do it in front of JJ. I'm wondering if Tylee knew about Charles being a zombie and if she believed any of it. Obviously Tylee wasn't part of the inner cult because there weren't any reports that she took part in castings.

ETA2: Adam or Zac mentioned that days after Charles' murder, Tylee was seen talking to Lori's mom and crying. Was it related to Charles?

Could this be anything to do with asking jurors whether they had learned of her prior convictions?

If it's old questionnaires from jury selection why would they only be filed yesterday I wonder.

The amazing thing about this interview is the "I am doing what I do to help the other women here." reflecting on the whole idea that the law does not allow her to put on a defense. The interviewer is playing a long game.....keeping this murderer in her pocket rather than alienating her because she wants another interview. Not a winnable game because the murderer is a liar and so many people are annoyed at the tactic. The whole concept of I can't explain because I have appeals while true is also not accurate. I call green chili chicken enchilada to the whole charade--- a masterpiece in her mind but a crappy dish to the rest of us.

After the LVD interview Brianna went on Hidden True Crimes with Lauren and Dr. John, both who I admire and explained her strategy and the journalist outlook on interviewing LVD.
It was a good interview with Brianna and I respect her journalist's outlook but don't agree which is irrelevant because I'm sure this won't be the last interview LVD gives and reporters are doing all they can to land her for one.
I find Brianna's mind-set and strategy when interviewing LVD highly offensive to all the victims, their loved ones and all the agencies involved in bringing her/Chad to justice through trials that convicted them both.
It's no wonder that LVD went back to Brianna for seconds.

Different than Karen Read's interviews, LVD has nothing to lose.

That was probably the most interesting testimony in the trial in my opinion. LVD really tried to intimidate her on the stand in cross. Can’t recall the witnesses name at the moment.

Not sure I’ll watch much of the next trial. I find listening to her very frustrating.

The witness was Sarena S. She was a Mormon from Connecticut who moved to Arizona in early 2019. She didn't leave the cult but was frozen out. Apparently she was asking Chad too many questions. IIRC, prior to that Lori and Chad labeled her husband dark.

LVD who believes she speaks for all incarcerated women-victims, could she be more full of herself? The ragtie curls slay me. LVD, we can SEE the orange jumpsuit and shackles. But OK, glam it up.

LVD was typically herself throughout the interview - deny, lie, claim persecution, project, dominate through chatter and tone.

The only thing that really surprised me is that when Briana told LVD that one juror originally was inclined toward “not guilty” and changed based on the prosecutor’s closing argument, LVD didn’t pounce on that and ask which juror that was so that she might use whatever that meant to her to attempt to influence jurors in the next trial.

If LVD had actual delusions, they'd be consistent, not on demand. She wouldn't be able to separate reality from perception, and she certainly wouldn't be able to argue that her religious references had shifting meaning, depending on what she's accused of.

LVD is just suburban housewife who has blown through marriages like they're hairstyles (well, the ones she didn't kill off) who found a convenient, facile and familiar way to influence the people around her. And by 'influence', I mean 'manipulate'. She exploited her religion for her own gain. What was she like the first 30some years of her life? I don't know. Mean girl? Histrionic? Nonchalant? Dropped on her head? Dabbled in psychedelics, did she? Mystery ingredient in her green chile chicken? Did she have a real otherworldly experience? Maybe. But she knows what she's doing.

She IS delusional but IMO not about religion.

She thinks she sounds credible.

And THAT is what puts the crazy in her Coco Puffs.
