LVD said the State was taking the story of Nephi and turning it into something it's not (my poor paraphrase,).

Also stressing that it's not a family tragedy, that hit me wrong. It WAS a family tragedy. CV was loved. She could have said that LVD was caused the family tragedy.

All the time I am thinking that if the jurors get it wrong, and later on they see that video of Charles ouside the house talking to the police about how his wife is going to likely kill him, how awful they will then feel about their decision.

I’m a little concerned by the jury’s decision to go home without deliberating. I get they had a long boring day today with jury instructions and closings that were tedious and somewhat less than helpful. But isn’t it still pretty early in AZ? Still, if this was a slam dunk for the state, wouldn’t you think they would want to get down to business and perhaps even get a verdict in tonight and be done with it?

I'm going to say they met, looked at the paperwork, were tired and opted to go home, come back tomorrow, fill out the paperwork and find Nephi LVD guilty.

Verdict after they get lunch tomorrow.
