So far I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere that according to Tass the juror, no one knew that LVD was incarcerated during the trial and wore that zapper belt around her waist.
imo
Somebody should have test fired that belt.

Alex wasn't even particularly religious before Lori and Chad gave him a key role in their conspiracy. He was excommunicated from the LDS church twice. In the beginning Lori was telling fellow cult members that Alex hadn't lived multiple lives like the rest of them. All that changed a few months later.
How did she turn him into an assassin? Maybe it's rhetorical question. But I mean, how does murder even come up in mixed company? Casual dinner party topic?

And why didn't he worry she might take him out?

She has ways.

Bold by me.

Alex should have worried about being taken out. I am unsure that LVD ultimately didn't [have Alex taken out]. Unfortunately, since LVD isn't into telling the truth, we'll never know.

IMO:
AC was worried leading up to his death which was the day after he got the news from LVD & CD that Tammy's remains were being exhumed.
Maybe LVD & CD were so insistent that AC and ZP get married is because then she couldn't testify against him and also I saw mentioned elsewhere as his wife she would get control of his body should he die?
Does anyone know why AC went to Mexico right before he died?
If he did commit suicide by drugs we'll never know due to not testing.
ZP is one sketchy gal and I had seen it reported that AC was her 6th or 7th husband, it was from a reliable source but I forget who said it.
I hope ZP and both Mels have to testify at BB's trial.
What I really hope is that the state has plans after BB's trial to throw some indictments/arrests at all three.

@ 39:00 CD gets all choked-up talking about the City of Light and he shows his preppers audience a picture of it to boot. lol
I scanned through the video it's CD telling his life tale.

I'm listening to this on 2x playback speed, mostly to speed up how quickly it can be over.

Snake oil. The worst of the televangelists, emotion on demand.

LVD is an absokute shiftshaper. Bet the service CD said he had a near death experience in his past, she claimed she had one. Mirrored him.

He is sure full of himself. Comic, crier -- (false) preacher, (false) prophet, (true) charlatan.

What a fanciful way to regale one's audience -- while justifying murder in secret.

Slick. Dangerous.

Oil slick.

IMO:
The religious people who follow and believe in the likes of a Julie Rowe and CDs are low-self esteem and obviously desperate to feel special and superior to the run-of the mill Christians that surround them and for $$$ and loyalty to their prophets, who claim to hear the spirit of God, they got what they deserved.
The Mormon Church w/o these fringe off-shoots is one "slick and dangerous" institution.

I've been curious if JR & CD got kick-backs from the companies all their "preppers" made purchases from.

I just came across this video and don't know if it's already been posted.
Adam Cox, Megan Conner, Kay Woodcock, Lauren from Hidden True Crime..etc.

This is fun to watch after just being in St George and Zion a few weeks ago ago, walked around the temple pictured too!

I'm watching this. LVD's initial court appearance, for contempt (not producing the children). LVD is laughing and joking, then looks down. When she looks up again, it's like she looks right into the camera and into your soul with the most creepy, devilish, duper delighty expression. I tried multiple times to screenshot it but I can only capture the down-look. Like dracula in a mirror, maybe her evil uplook can't be photographed.

So maybe it's a favor to all's'a'ya that I'm posting the photo from the moment before she pierces your soul and not the moment she does. You're welcome.

Narcissists and sociopaths are a fascinating study. It's as difficult for them to see how we could be any different from them as it is for us (as "normal" people) to see how they can be like they are.

Karl the juror is with Lauren @ Hidden True Crime.

Just uploaded.

Still watching, but at 20:45 Lauren asks Karl about his statement made outside the courthouse immediately after the verdict when he stated something like "while driving home yesterday, I was thinking that she already had 3 life sentences," and he kind of sidestepped in his answer and then changed the subject. When Lauren attempted further clarification, he said he didn't know how he learned that and he didn't clarify the timing - did he learn it after the verdict or did he learn it sometime before the deliberations began or before they were finished. Curious to know what others think after watching this.

It seems clear to me from the interview that Karl learned a lot more about Lori's past and the crimes in Idaho AFTER the verdict was read in the courtroom, but it is still unclear whether he knew while participating in deliberations that Lori had 3 past convictions with life sentences and if so, how he learned that.

Sounds like Karl had a hard time "tracking" with the evidence and what all of it meant relative to the charges until the prosecutor's closing statement pulled it all together and brought particular pieces of evidence to his attention such that he wanted to go over that evidence again during deliberations. Even the evidence demonstrating the fact that Lori and Chad were having an affair seems to have escaped his notice during the trial as he wasn't sure if he learned that during the trial or afterwards.

ETA: Karl also related about how the trial and what he has learned since has impacted him, saying it has kept him awake and caused him to wake from sleeping.

Good post, thanks.
I stopped watching soon after Karl skirted the while I was driving home 3 life sentences.
Too many cringes for me when he was focused on LVD's last question to some witnesses (paraphrasing) "did you hear me say that I wanted my husband dead"?
That was what Karl was going on for a not-guilty by conspiracy and that no witnesses said yes.
He totally ignored the forensics for the phones and locations with LVD's texts throughtout those timelines.
Then him not comprehending any of the texts shown during the trial showing that not only were they in love before CV was killed but what was said between them about LVD no longer being the beneficiary and it was changed before he was killed.
I didn't keep listening so I don't know if he again mentioned LVD & AC's text about they'd both be like Nephi.
Karl is also the juror whose cell phone pinged during the trial, he was texting with daughter and was one of the 2 jurors who discussed their Social Security and which was also addressed by the judge.
I like Lauren a lot but she skated his long irrelevant answer to the 3 life sentences which reminded me of how LVD answers questions with non-answers.
Lauren kept giving him suggestions to use so he could re-write history about him saying when he was driving home he felt sorry for her because she already is serving 3 lifes.
They all went over his head.
Thankfully there were enough jurors who followed the conspiracy evidence which led to her conviction because Karl was smitten.

IMO

I don’t know if he was smitten or is just not a careful thinker. He seemed unwilling to think about how the separate puzzle pieces fit together to reveal what the defendant and her co-conspirator(s) were up to and wanted instead just a “whole picture” in one single “smoking gun” piece.

I just went to the comments under the YT video thinking it's me along with a few others whose had serious issues with Karl from the get-go.
Nope, Lauren's members have lots to say..
What I did forget to mention and it was addressed right away in the comments is when K said it was a waste of tax players/state's money to trial LVD for CD's death because she's already serving 3 life
I read just 4 and OMG...so far no one is letting Karl slide.
Check them out, there's over 1,000 already.

His mind was elsewhere then on the evidence being presented in the trial.
