Jury seated in Lori Vallow Daybell murder conspiracy case, opening statements to start Thursday

Jury selection was pushed back twice already after Vallow Daybell told the court she was sick.

I adore this judge.

So he basically polls LD to show that she is of sound mind, oriented no doubt to time and place, able to articulate why she thinks she's not able to be articulate. Classic.

He is steadying the course, whatever she tries to divert.

It's obvious to me that, of the two of them, only one holds the jury and jury process in esteem.

It's not her.

I am glad no apparently gave LD any ibuprofen. Seems like that could become overblown. Drugs. Contraband. Etc. And we know that, if LD could find a way to exploit it, she would.

Give that woman NOTHING.

A very interesting interview with Brandon's PI (he goes into details):

Apparently when MBP and Alex were moving from Arizona to Idaho, they were being tracked by a GPS tracker and the local Utah police were informed of their movements, because of the fear that they would go to Brandon's parents' house where his children were in hiding.

That was interesting. Very competent investigator. I don't think I'd heard that after the jeep was impounded, nobody ever called to report the car stolen.
