I can’t believe that some of Tammy Daybell’s children did not give a public statement and stand up for their Mother. Why?? It would have been easy to have attended Loris sentencing and let her have it! I see them as weak and selfish. I feel so bad for Tammy!

Tammy was not part of the AZ trials. But Charles was and his sons did not attend nor speak. Anyone know if an explanation has ever been given for their absence?

Normally, if you are the one who finds the information I need, I would buy you a new car or a new home. However, I am a bit tight this month. If you could settle for my undying love and appreciation, that would be great.
I know there is a list on Reddit, but it is not clear about Melanie's kids.

it was something i heard or read a long time ago.. maybe it was when the children were found/chad was arrested... chad talking to emma referencing money that was to be put on lori's jail account. someone else may have links to provide on this and/or i could have a faulty memory.

i don't have an opinion on the most powerful victim impact statement in lori's sentencing hearing. but, i agree with previous post... kay's words were so emotional. i have great admiration for her.

but, regarding alivea... i believe you're thinking of alivea goncalves. the kohberger case.

Things of note for me today:
- the devastation of Brandon's family. They lived in absolute fear for Brandon's life, the lives of his kids and their own lives. What does that do to a person??
- Kay, Charles' other siblings and relatives...tore my heart out as usual.
- Todd (JJ's bio father) delivered the goods. He was brave to stand up there. He talked about what it was like to be a prisoner and how he learned from that experience. He said he hoped that Lori would too. (Note: I have zero expectations that she will learn anything in prison.)
- Prosecutor... I believe she mentioned Melani again. I found this interesting. (Please correct me if she didn't mention Melani.)
- Lori vomited her usual vomit. But one thing stood out for me. While complaining about her jail conditions she argued that everyone had the right to life and liberty. Yet here she was, the person that was absolutely comfortable taking away "life and liberty" from her supposed loved ones. She said they are better in the next life. If so, why didn't Lori just go to the next life rather than kill people in her family??
- Judge Beretsky suffered no fools. He saw Lori for who she was. I have no idea how this man controlled himself during the trial, and, now the sentencing.
- Summer Shifflet (sp?) was in the courtroom today. She sat on Lori's side. I'm curious what her view is now. Is she ready to denounce her sister?

9:52 a.m. On July 26, Lori sends Chad a text asking him to check JJ. “She said he was calm and he watched movies all day which he would never do.” Chad responds, “It is still JJ. I’m told she is lying about him being calm and watching movies.” Lori responds, “Mel knew. She called me. She felt the real Brighton (Melani Boudreax’s child) last night and knew she was different. She was told I didn’t want to tell her. She is taking it well and knows it is part of a big plan. She is amazing! Although I’m still pretty upset about it, I love you. Missing your kisses.”


11:14 a.m. We now have five slides from Aug. 10. Lori to Chad: “Please check JJ. He just woke up saying crazy stuff and won’t go back to sleep. He is talking to Blake. It’s weird.” Chad to Lori: “JJ is still JJ. I am told his spirit recognizes Blake is evil and is unsettled by him.” Chad to Lori: “Hi my love. How is JJ now?” Lori to Chad: “He’s better. He was just up talking nonsense for like 2 hours last night. I’m sure they were bugging him. Is he at zero yet? I miss you.”

1:57 p.m. Hart says there was evidence on Lori’s iCloud that Alex believed his mission was to help Lori. The next slide shows a message from Lori to Melani B. on Nov. 16. “Will you do this job if your whole family turns against you?? That is what the Lord has asked of us! Our glories will be worth it and they will all shrink on our presence. It will be a sad day for those who chose to oppose us when we work for the Lord and are His valiant warriors. Be strong my little one!! We will be gone in a few.”

So only two weeks after Charles' murder, MBP believed that at least one of her children was a zombie and was fine with it, knowing it was all part of a big plan. From early on, MBP was as lethal as Lori. They didn't have to hide the murders of anyone from her because she was fully on board the entire time. It's intriguing how she got out of the mindset, after knowingly covering for the murderers for the longest time, while Lori stuck with it. MBP never spoke against her aunt who talked her into harming her kids. What kind of mothers behave like that?
Some texts suggest that ZP was also well aware they were actively killing zombies, but unlike MBP, she didn't have to make personal sacrifices, if you don't count marrying Alex.
