He wasn’t Gods Prophet.
He was a false prophet. Used it to get into bed with dumb women.
My laughing emoji is not for the seriousness of all this damage. It is directed at Lori who doesn't realize how very dumb she is.

Anyone have insights on her attraction to Chad? I know he was an author in a genre she liked, but....come on. Chad?

I can't figure that out - would love to hear if anyone has ideas about it. Would she eventually have outgrown that attraction, especially since he doesn't have money?

I really think it is related to a combination of her understanding of and relationship to her LDS religion and her leftover childhood feelings for her father - whom her father boasted that Lori sees (or, as a child, saw) as a "spiritual giant."

I remember her Hawaii friend, April saying something about Lori really wanting to be married to someone who was very strong in that way and that she thought Charles fell short of that ideal.

Agree. I am concerned about her potential influence "preaching" to others. I just hope the prisoners are smart enough to see through her delusions and shut her down.

no doubt she will continue to influence others.

and, what is really frightening are the ones outside of prison who, in my opinion, knew she killed but still continued to believe the her godly super-powers. did they just simply 'see the light and errors of their ways'... chalking all of it up to simply being duped.

and, i wonder are others like them still out there, meeting under a similar ruse, reading the same books, and following some other near-death-story-spouting oaf and his sickly-sweet talking gal pal who require others believe that god has chosen the two of lead others to realms of glory.

two crazy leaders are one thing but when they influence others of their bs... that's obviously dangerous.

if not for kay.... how many others would possibly be dead... and how many followers would still be believing loho and chad.

all jmo

Yesterday she was preaching to the court how all inmates (presumably her followers, whom she calls warriors), not just her, will be set free by divine intervention, and how they will turn their lives around. "Miracles will happen." She's certainly positioning herself as a religious leader.
SCREAM!

Very interesting! Thank you for sharing about April's comments. That does make sense (though I disagree with Lori's choice, of course).

I know we discussed this at length right after Lori's conviction on the Brandon case, but what are the chances that MP will be charged? I remember Treena Kay saying she wouldn't speak to the media until after the sentencing. But then right after the sentencing she declined being interviewed. In my "hopeful spirit" I wonder if it is because she has something else up her sleeve. I know that I am desperate to believe that MP will be charged, but a girl can dream, can't she?

Did Brandon have any life insurance? I don't know if we were ever really to do a "deep dive" on Melani, as she was never charged or even considered a "POI".

I don't remember much about their divorce, but it seemed like she left? Or he divorced her, and got custody of the kids? Does she ever even see her kids?

It was before they were divorced. Yes he had insurance on his life. She stood to gain it. She told him she wanted a divorce soon before someone attempted to kill him.

Patience with crossed fingers.

One at a time with the most obvious first. Thus every case with a guilty verdict cements all that evidence and testimony into legal fact and that can then be used to convict the subsequent conspirators.

It was a moment that further highlighted the tension between Lori Vallow Daybell, who represented herself in two murder conspiracy cases in Arizona, and Beresky, who pulled no punches when the time came for him to address the court.

Beresky said Vallow Daybell was not truthful when she claimed she was prevented from telling her side of the story and was unable to get a fair trial. The media attention she craved, he said, will fade into obscurity now that her trials are over.

“The amount of contemplation, calculation, planning and manipulation that went into these crimes is unparalleled in my career,” said Beresky, who has been a Maricopa County Superior Court judge since 2017 and has presided over other high-profile cases.
