I want JUSTICE for this precious

Something bad happened to Sylar.
The story changed about what tent he was sleeping in.
The questionable history of the custodial Mother.
There are many things I have questions about in this case.
I just pray LE has enough evidence for an arrest.
Sylar so deserves a resolution.

jmho

I agree that something bad happened to Sylar.

However, the Sheriff did state that the story about the tent did not change - that it was an error or the part of his office. Can't find the link right now but I will.

I don't know why but that really chaffed my hide.

And more importantly Tina is not Sylar's Mother.

Sylar was not her little boy. He wasn't. No biologically and not legally.

Now if it proves to be that she had nothing to do with Sylar's death and is in no way culpable I will accept that from LE.

But this child was no one's baby. He was a little lost soul. Wow, I need to sit back and figure out why I reacted so strongly to that article. I'm a bit embarrassed now. I probably shouldn't post but I will anyway.

JMHO

He didn't have to be a lost soul. His extended biological family adored him. They were not give a chance to save him. They believed he was well cared for and with his mother (CN) in Texas.

(No I'm not family but I do know them and have spoken to Sylar's grandfather and great grandmother.)

I am a bit confused about the Sylar Newton fund being pushed on FB because I know that the extended Newton family has already planned and is paying for a memorial service and headstone for Sylar to be buried with other Newton family members.

I AM NOT saying that the fund is fraudulent! I am just not sure of its intended purpose.

Thoughts here are all MY OWN and are in no way meant to represent Sylar's "voice".

I think you nailed it ....

I am praying you are correct and as we are posting she's being processed for detention!

Maternal dna testing should be determined by now ((praying for that match))

I know that a DNA sample was requested from the great grandmother - in fact, that is how the rest of the family found out that a toddler's remains had been found.

Maybe that sort of DNA takes longer due to the separation of generations?

And yes, I am angry that CN didn't call anyone when she was notified by LE. They had to hear about it nearly 2 hours later from the FBI. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

This fund...if you send donations directly to the funeral home which is one of the sources listed to send donations, where would the extra money go if the Newton's are paying for the service. Just wondering before I donate because I definitely want my money going toward Sylar and Sylar only!

I don't know how any extra money would be used.

However, I would feel very comfortable donating to the funeral home though. This isn't a wealthy family and while they are certain to make sure Sylar gets a proper burial no matter what, it is a financial hardship.

From what I gleaned from the facebook information there was an address given for the funeral home in Cottonwood and people were requested to send their donations there.
As far as the other fundraising on the page, on that I am not too clear.

DNA from the great grandmother? Why would they need that? Wouldn't a DNA sample from CN suffice or did she refuse to give a sample?

You know I was wondering about that too. I am wondering if they found the great grandmother before they found the bio mom and that's why they took a sample.

The great grandmother gave a DNA sample on the day the remains were found. CN was back in IN by that time but I don't know if she had been asked previously for a sample.

I don't think she would have refused. IMO.

You'd have thought LE would have opted for a sample prior to telling her to head back to Indiana for her own safety. That just seems weird to me. I doubt she'd have refused too, but can't figure out LE wouldn't have taken the opportunity while she was there.

I'm pretty sure this will simply be about the donations for the funeral and headstone. I doubt it will be anything new or intriguing.

Anything is possible though.

That is most likely the case because CN'S family believed she was living in texas with Sylar. So they may not have been able to locate her via her family.

I feel comfortable donating to the funeral home as well so that was what I was planning to do. I am sure the biological family is aware CN is participating with raising the funds and are aware the donations will be coming to help them with the financial side of things. Money should not be an issue for this little boy to have a proper memorial. I am just afraid that by the time I send my donation is sent which is friday (payday) that they may have already done all the planning. I am sure they can still use it. CN is expecting LE to release his little body this week. I imagine the funeral would be next week but she stated he was being cremated so the service could actually be anytime. =(

well yippee -- I just saw the top of the hour ''big story''

1. WP was successful in getting emergency order re custody of his kids Friday
2. CN has 'divorced' herself from CP's family
3. CN said that WP was justified given there were concerns CP was emotionally and physically abusive to her kids

What a big fat mess. Worse than a mess. There is a deceased two year old in all that as well. Makes me sick to my stomach for Sylar.

CN says she gave Sylar to Tina at two weeks of age. Did I hear that right?

I dont think CN's parenting advice is worth 2 cents, So I really dont care if she thinks it was justified. Why is she suddenly able to judge's CP's abilities to parent. Really WTH??

I understand this is an eye opening case for CN but she should of just kept that bit to her self unless she wants it to bite her in the butt later.Even it is likely it is true where was this opinion before she handed her son to her?
She hasnt seen her recently to know she is abusive .
