But we don't know what is beneath the blocked out portion, correct?

It's a second gun. I saw the original pic long ago

MS should be happy he is not in the U.S , they like to shoot people a lot there and then investigate after they shoot the suspect dead.

Found a reference to the picture sent to CN. It was the photo that was partially blacked out as gremlingrrl recalled:

https://www.thestar.com/news/crime/...photos-of-guns-in-tim-bosma-murder-trial.html

Ok - thank you! I wonder when the picture was sent to CN. It was established, per the article linked, as resembling the gun of which the Feb 14 photo was taken, but doesn't indicate a date for the tm to CN. I'm sure that's out there somewhere in the evidence published. Regardless, one can certainly draw some assumptions about what sharing the photo with CN implies, IMO.

That's my understanding, as well.
And why blocked out? (Sorry if this was discussed long ago...my memory isn't what it used to be lol)

Because it's from the TB trial and the blocked out gun was not part of evidence in that trial.

Thanks to some of the members who are good at doing a lot of research and providing the information. I would never know where to look, excellent researchers. I wish I could have had your help when I had my two civil cases. You are excellent sleuths. I had to learn a lot of where to investigate properties etc, I was representing myself and investigate how to find out an address, I felt like a private investigator.

When I did my investigating I was accused by the defendant of stalking them. The judge said I was allowed to do what it took to get the information I needed.

If I were a betting person, blackened area of that pic is a 2nd gun, and after further investigation, is the gun that took the life of WM. MOO

I agree that's probably most likely. Although I think there is another gun purchased around June 2012 isn't there? I believe there are supposed to be three guns total.

So I wonder if that picture will show up in either this trial or the WM one with the Walther blacked out? :notgood:

MOO

Can anyone tell me, were the pictures of MS beside the eliminator with the door open and flames showing, made available via an internet link, as I've read being admissable evidence with this case.

It has not been entered into evidence yet. Since the crown used it in their opening at some point it will be, at which time it might be released to the public.

This isn’t a dig at anyone on this site, but we’re dealing with an investigation by police that took well over a year and untold man hours to do it. So the first thought that pops in your head about ‘this’ or ‘that’ has likely been investigated and closed off by LE.

An they managed to get them both on M1 straight to indictment. Lots still to come. IMO

r.e. the spring:

Rogers also testified about the detailed grid search of two “burn sites” on the farm. A tent was erected around the two circular sites — which reeked of gasoline — as a team of anthropology students combed the charred sections of corn field looking for evidence.

In addition to three seatbelts — which the jury saw Wednesday — they also found grommets, a metal spring, glass, burned wood, a partially melted plastic bottle and coins.

I know some people that could have helped Laura Babcock get some help, I feel really bad I wished I could have helped her. She had two conditions one mental health and addictions.

I don't think it's fair to call her a drug addict. She saved over $3000. A lot of people abuse drugs without reaching addiction.

Really, so many possibilities... if one doesn't rush to make assumptions? DM could have also dropped MS off and then gone to the farm and killed her, all by his lonesome.

The mattress testimony will hopefully be interesting? Are they only basing it on that DM purchased a new one which had to be delivered immediately, or is there also evidence of what happened with the mattress to necessitate the purchase of a new one? I'm assuming DM would've been fine to sleep without his mattress for a couple of days, so also assuming that perhaps one of his gf's was scheduled to come by the house, and it would've caused too many questions for him to have no mattress... so which gf was it? When did she come to the house, and what did she notice/know? Where was dad in all of this?

Regarding the mattress, AM was in Winnipeg that week and messaged them he was on his way back and they would have to play bed rummy or something of that nature.

Errr I, believe she did have addiction problems and that the people she was around got her into drugs.
