I have to wonder if MB and CN are even talking now after CN didn't destroy the letters putting her Pooh Bear in Jail for the rest of his life..??
CN seems to be doing a lot of travelling these days- I have no doubt that someone is funding her travels. She's performed well on the stand, she's taken a lot of heat and spent a couple months in jail. IMO, her and Rabbit are far from estranged. Like I said earlier- CN is a very smart cookie. MOO

https://www.therecord.com/news-story/5688882-millard-to-be-represented-by-new-lawyer/

Just makes one suspicious of Paradkar/Millard relationship...can a unretained lawyer have contact visits? Would being 'unretained' protect him from consequences of passing on letters?ARE there any consequences ethically/legally for a lawyer?

I believe that Lawyers (and many other professions with governing bodies) are held to a high ethical and moral standard, whether retained or not. I wonder if it's possible to look up if he's ever been disciplined with the Law Society of Upper Canada?

If only a small portion of the letters are being allowed into evidence, I can only imagine the implications and what was written in the entirety of all 60+ letters!

And also a 🤬🤬🤬, lol.
But yes, this is a fair/plausible assessment. I often wonder how she funds all that she does...

Oh, I agree. I'm waiting for the day that we can read them all in their entirety (praying and hoping quietly to myself that this day comes). I wonder if they hold any damning evidence for the WM trial, also. Could that have even been on DM's radar at the time of writing/sending these letters? Or was he just assuming he completely got away with that one, on the basis that it was already ruled a suicide?

Believe me, its no coincidence that CN is in Poland now. I'm sure her lawyer advised her and her family paid. Maybe staying with relatives?

The LSUC website isn't particularly user friendly but I did search through it and couldn't come up with any disciplinary actions against Paradkar. It's a lot easier to check in other provinces.

Lawyers are permitted to enter jails and penitentiaries and can see whoever they want to see as long as those inmates wish to see them.

I can't imagine an experienced lawyer smuggling out letters for an inmate to go to a person that that inmate has a no contact order with. That would be incredibly foolish and would open him up to future blackmail from the inmate.

Aside from any legal bills if any, she lived at home and from what I understood was employed.. If she is in Poland at school, any travel she's done could easily been done by train on a weekend.. It's cheap and common enough for a weekend trip.. Who knows if ANY of the instagram photos of travel are all that recent either.. could be old pictures trying to throw the dogs off her scent.. She could very well be a very smart cookie indeed..

Many of her posts are old posts she is reposting. She thinks she is important and people are watching her, which might be true but it's not because she is important. It is because we want to see her on the stand.

She isn't smart. She was in love with DM, no smart person would be.

Yeah, I searched for Ravin Pillay as well, and nothing came up for both.

I agree, it would be a huge risk, personally or professionally, for an experienced lawyer to do such a thing. But anything is possible, and they are lawyers after all. I wouldn't be surprised if they squirmed/explained their way out of any disciplinary action.

I'm just so intrigued to find out the true story here, whether lawyers were involved or not. Some covert arrangement was made, without a doubt, IMO.

Wouldn't it be unfortunate for CN if someone compiled a treasure trove of news clippings about her carryings on and forwarded them to the med school registrar/dean of admissions.. I know most universities have a certain code of ethics to abide by.. Certainly tampering with evidence and aiding a serial killer would be against the rules there.. . Especially now that we know she knew but didn't know what happened to Laura and Tim and still said nothing until she was forced to testify...

I think she is desperately trying to hold onto her 15 minutes of fame. Proud she knows what really happened.

I hope it haunts her for the rest of her life. Karma exists.

She and DM would have made very bad spelling babies.*. She’s #remenicing**.

* unless conceived at sea

** possible this is not a fairly egregious spelling mistake and she’s actually icing a remen

I'm hoping for that as well. I've been wondering why Dungey has been so quiet.
Let's see what next week brings.

I think Dungey is being quiet because so far everything Is pointing to DM and the juries attention is there.

This old article from around the day Noudga was arrested, room searched, and DM and MS were charged with additional murder(s) may help with the sequence. According to this report, LE had analyzed the data from cell phones, and data from "one of the largest computer seizures in Ontario criminal law history."
It's very difficult to know when DM knew about LE looking into his dad's death. But DM knew they had the gun confiscated in November 2012, and that LE were on a "mission" to put his life leading up to TB's death under a microscope. We may only discover the truth about the timing of DM's awareness of LE looking into WM's death once the Cell data, computer data and letters are presented in the next trial. MOO

For now, deliberately asking very few question may be an effective message to the jury.

Do we know the warrant was for only two items or just that they found two items of interest during their search?

From ABro..

Police found a DVR listed on their search warrant in the closet of Christina Noudga’s bedroom

Now correct me if I'm wrong but the only place I ever saw the DVR mentioned was in the letters, so logic would tell you that cops had read the letters before they confiscated them.

Very well said your summary is perfect. I love the one about CN , so true and the three losers MM, SS, AM , unbelievable how they allowed DM to prey on them and they were so easily bought for drugs, place to stay and empty promises.

I totally agree with Sherlock’s writings, except for MM, SS and AM winning the “blind bat award”...stupid yes but I don’t believe for one second that they didn’t know. MM maybe as she isn’t the smartest cookie on the block but I 100% believe that SS and AM knew EVERYTHING and did support and or help DM.

Also the BS the AM spewed on the stand of them not liking MS (included DM on this) was another way to sling crap MS’s way and elude from DM. The texts between MS and DM tell us a different story...brothers and love! They are still covering for DM!!

Didn’t they find the DVR during their initial search and when they found the letters?

Indeed it is, and also, the last thing he wants to do is ask a witness that didn't harm his client a question and get an answer that ends up hurting his client.

Sometimes keeping your mouth shut is the best thing that a defence lawyer can do. Too bad DM hasn't learned that yet.
