British Bella May Culley 18, missing from Thailand, arrested in Georgia, May 2025

The drug mules probably aren't declaring what kind of money they actually get. They're stupid but the greed would outweigh that, no way they'd carry drugs for a pittance. Too many designer goodies to buy and show off on SM. JMO

Quick question, if anyone has the answer, the drugs that they were smuggling in - what sort of street value do they have?

"Foreign Office's urgent warning for 48 countries as Bella May Culley faces life in prison.

Illegal drugs, including cannabis, carry severe penalties.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)
has today updated its travel advice for nearly 50 countries
following the arrest of an 18 year old British teenager.

In certain countries,
even traces of cannabis on clothing can result in arrest.
Blood and urine tests may also be conducted.

Bella MayCulley is facing a potential life sentence due to drug charges,
accused of illegally buying, possessing and importing significant quantities of narcotics, including cannabis.

The teenager has been detained in Georgia for 55 days
while the prosecution continues its investigations.

The BBC reports that this could be
extended by another seven months."

£250. I do not think that the truth was being told about the amount they were given. She could have made that in a few shop lifting trips!

Isn't that pounds? I put 'lbs.' which means 'pounds' in Canada

that's $463 dollars in Canada

I agree with you she's lying about the amount

in the UK lbs would only refer to pounds in weight. eg 3 lbs of flour.
Pounds in currency would use the £ symbol.

These drug mules are all about being victims and making themselves into some sort of 'celebrity' IMO. JMO

Has there been any official confirmation of Bella's pregnancy yet?

I think we might have heard if the pregnancy test was positive.

Teen drug mule suspect Bella Culley has claimed she was 'forced under torture' to smuggle 40kg of drugs from Thailand to Georgia as she speaks for the first time of her ordeal at court.

The British 18-year-old claimed she has a 'scar' that proves she was violently coerced into trafficking the narcotics and has no idea what country she is even in.

Breaking down in tears throughout a 30-minute hearing at Tbilisi City Court in the Georgian capital, she told a judge: 'I didn't want to do this, I was forced under torture.

Prosecutor David Mestvirishvili said she faces a sentence of between eight and 20 years for the first charge and between 15 and 20 years.

A third charge carries a maximum six year sentence.

Judge Lela Kalichenkowas denied Culley bail after agreeing with prosecutors that the teenager is a flight risk and could commit the crime again.

Culley entered a not guilty plea and the trial date was set for July 10.

I hate it when teenagers think adults are stupid.

Whenever I think this girl cannot get more stupid... 🙄

How bizarre she forgot to mention the torture and claims of trying to inform passport control of her plight when she was first arrested. I assume she forgot to tell her solicitor this too when they first met.

Obviously she's stupid, but this stupid is something else. JMO

Her baby bump had visibly grown in the latest court appearance as she was supported by her 39-year-old oil rig worker father Niel.

I can't see any fresh steam burns or scalds on her arms in the original photos, I can't see a baby bump in the new photo. Has there been official confirmation she's really pregnant? JMO

I also was wondering about an official confirmation of her pregnancy.

Mr Malkhaz Salakaia, representing Miss Culley, said she had been threatened with a hot iron to coerce her into travelling with the suitcase filled with drugs.

Mr Salakaia, who does not speak English and specialises in juvenile law, said the teenager was not aware of what was in her suitcase.

Addressing the court, Mr Salakaia said the teenager tried to inform customs officers in Thailand "but nobody paid attention".

"She was instructed to fly to Georgia - she did not even know where Georgia was located geographically."

He also told the court that Miss Culley was 18 weeks pregnant.
