How is this relevant to the disappearance of Robert Merle Harrod? :waitasec:

Actually, donating a kidney to a stranger is a wonderful thing to do. She must be a wonderful person and will have gone to amazing lengths to find her father, obviously. Can someone provide the links though? I am still a bit of a newbie.

So why on earth would anyone with that knowledge suggest he took off on his own?

I don't believe it was stated he "took off". I believe the feeling was he went to a neighbors or for a walk.

My first thought would not be that he was not going to return.

The cleaning lady did not report it even though according to the clip she felt something was wrong.

Hindsight is 20 / 20. The situation at the time apparently did not merit a call to PPD even by her....

.
Seems safe to believe JuM likely received this tip from her husband.

As I suspected this is her version. To my knowledge his version has never been disclosed by LE, so once again we are suppose to go on the documents of one side.

I want to see the reports from BOTH sides.

Yes, this is JuM's version of her husband's sighting of a black SUV which was then communicated to Fontelle-Fontelle being the only one who filed a MP report on her husband.

How could you of asked for a link of information I have never posted before?

here is your link

"Although the actual recording has been lost, all of the parties involved--Zafar and his wife, Carrie, and the caller, Julie Michaels--remember it quite clearly. It went like this: "Hi, Carrie, this is Julie Michaels. You may not remember me, but we met briefly at that holiday party and sat next to each other at the Sierra Breeding Club meeting. Anyway, I heard you need a kidney, and if it turns out we match, I would be honored if you would accept one of mine."

Zafar was the first to hear the message. "Honey," he called into the bedroom, his voice rising a bit, "Carrie, you should listen to this message. I think this woman is sincere."

Julie and Jeff Michaels, contacted through Roberta Brady, would not comment for this story.

Is there intimate knowledge that no one else saw this vehicle? Or is it once again assumed that the SIL was the only one?

Research is a great tool....

If you re read the posting order, Allusonz, you will see that I responded to a request made by zwiebel. Zwiebel is looking for links that show JuM leaving no stone unturned in her quest to find her father.

Again, I am sorry, I dont understand your post.

Fontelle reported what she was told about a black SUV when reporting the disappearance of her husband.

She must have been told this information because she wasnt in CA when her husband disappeared. She wasnt in the house, she wasnt outside of the house. She was given this information by JuM.

I am unclear what else you are driving at for sure.

<self snip, lol>

It was good to revisit the who said what around the phantom SUV, the dementia theory and the walk a way/cold feet theory.

I still think the key situation is worth sorting out as well.

All of the combinations, permutations, and chance data is not accurate enough as it does not include any potentials and others periphally around the investigation. This is flawed.

Absolutely. I knew that when I posted it. I could have got out my old contacts book out and after two years maybe, got a proper, peer reviewed result. I did not because I figured out in my head that the results would be about the same. It is just my opinion, please ignore me if you want.

Interesting that a skirmish happened when we were getting down to discussing CA Exile...at least that is how I see it. Something about the subject of him seems to draw fire, or perhaps I am misreading the situation. No matter...

BBM and posting this again.

Perhaps he had a set of keys but did not want the CL to know that. Hence the "unlocked" back door.

If Mr. Harrod was home when JeM went on his errand why the need to leave the back door unlocked?

Ayup. Right, because we have that "responding in a favorable way" comment from a daughter. So given that set of information, if Bob were home there would be no need to leave the door deliberately unlocked. Just a little thing, could be nothing, could be worth gnawing over.

Now, how security conscious was Bob? How did he like his home left-doors open or locked up tight? I wonder.

Given that he would leave CL a key, I am leaning toward locked up tight. Unless he was home, then he probably had common use doors unlocked...I dont know. Just a guess on my part.

Of course at least one family member had keys. If Bob trusted neighbours enough, he would have trusted family enough too.
How did JuM get in next day?
Why did Fontelle have the locks changed?
Of course family had keys.

Why doesn't anyone know for certain though? Who is all this secrecy benefitting?

Hmmm. I guess the obvious answer is it benefits the person who could most be harmed by transparency.

I think it is fair to assume family had keys then, zwiebel, using your logic.

Maybe AH did take his set, if he had a set, and entered Bob's house to look for him. I only mention him because he is close in proximity to Bob's house....it seems logical that he would be first on call if no one could get Bob on the phone. It would be so easy for him, or for his wife, to have checked.
