I found this information from one of those general websites that allow you to look up anyone. Anyway, this is probably old information, but I located a Robert Harrod in Placentia, CA. It displays the phone number and address, and I'm not sure if that's against the rules. I'm not sure how accurate the information is, but it provides a list of interests belonging to Robert, and has an interactive street view via Google (which I still find fascinating).

ETA: Since I clearly know nothing about these kinds of sites, I have to add that there's no exact address provided; that requires payment. Still, it gives you the interactive view of the street that he apparently lived (I debated whether or not to use present or past tense) on, there's just no house number.

Okay, I've been trying my video link, and Bob's isn't showing up anymore. Can anyone else tell me if they're having the same problem? I wonder if it's actually been taken down, or if it's just a technical glitch on the website's part.

On the page with the "good" mood and smiley face, if you click on "View Robert M's Blog" and scroll down, you'll find an August 22nd post that has the mood set to "anxious" with the worried face.

I'm sorry if I offended you, dreamweaver. Anything to bring attention to Bob's disappearance is a good thing, and I thank you for doing it. I noticed that there are many links included on the MySpace; it was the "good" mood and smiley face that threw me off.

I'm working on a map to show points within range of 2 hours, 20 min of driving time (one way) from Bob's house (assumes no traffice since not rush hour). That would be 4 hours 40 min total. Will that work?

Yes....I think that there are people who are genuinely looking for him, Fairy.

I think there were SAR searches done, fwiw-I doubt they were done with any kind of notification to the media. I dont have any inside info to that effect-just a strong suspicion because this detective is very on the ball. Now, air and ground scent will disappear within 3-5 days IIRC. So if we are looking for an ambulatory Bob, the critical piece for me is wondering when LE figured out this was not a runaway groom...if it took a few days, then evidence of him walking away from his home would be tough to get using a dog.

If we believe that Bob is currently unable to speak for himself, then cloudajo's map etc will be really really helpful in looking for possible place Bob might have been left on a Monday in July. To me, that is usually a busy day of the week regardless of where you are, and people are out an about. So where could he have been placed quickly that would not draw attention?

One of the ways to find Mr. Harrod is figuring out who took him. Then you can try to look at possible places to put Mr. Harrod.

BBM-I suppose another way to look at this is Fontelle being a gatekeeper. I would like to throw a few things out there-I think we have limited sources for the claims that Fontelle is holding things hostage. And I think that those sources might have their own agenda. JMO. I think that Fontelle is in a unique position to squeeze those who might have some answers to the disappearance of Bob from a different side than, say, law enforcement. If we look at her presence as being a roadblock to Bob's assets, than her function is infinitely useful. If we look at her presence as being a roadblock to any changes being made physically to his house, than her presence is also useful.

Amen! I couldn't have said it better. (the whole thing, not just what I bolded, but I agree the sources anything is being held hostage is very questionable.... )

This is the way TES has always operated.
They have to have LE cooperation in ordrer to do a search.

If PPD is doing all they can to find out what happened to Robert Harrod,
then ... there is a reason they felt they did not need TES's help.

I'll add to this. In ANY search there must be a starting point. An idea of where to search. NO WHERE have we seen any starting point or place to search. California is an enormous place..... why would LE request TES to waste resources unless there was a place to search. TES's lack of involvement currently is understandable without an area on where to search.

I do, solely because I believe their attempts are to throw a wrench into the search for and investigation into Bobs disappearance. It's pretty apparent to me the disparaging remarks they continued to make about Bob until the IS thread was locked was an attempt to paint Bob in a bad light and get people disinterested in finding him.

by 'their' I mean Bobs daughters who have been in control of the FB page as well as their own writings on various forums and comments sections of media.
