It's possible that she was put on a pedestal posthumously as a counterpoint to the image of Bob that the daughters put forward after he was murdered. Not being there for their mother when her health was failing is inexcusable.

And I think it ties into one of Teamer's points -- had they been there for Georgia, they would have been very familiar with the household items in general, and that they considered mementos of her, and hence would not needed to include a catch-all request, and repeat it at the end of the list.

(sniped) So the daughters didn't think enough of their mom to visit much when she was sick. I'm going to bet that after Georgia died, Bob witnessed his daughters acting like vultures trying to get their mothers things and money.

Can you only imagine how difficult it would be to care for your dying spouse in your late 70's all by yourself? SuziQ, IMO you have connected the dots. If you add one (girls didn't help Bob with their mother) and two (girls wanted Bob to give them their mother's possesions) together, this may be the most logical reason why Bob asked his girls for space and time away from them after Georgia died. Then, to Bob's credit, if you follow the time line of events after Georgia died, Bob did try to reconnect with his daughters when Fontell came into his life.

How I wish Bob were here to tell us his side of the story. How I wish he was here today, could sit with his girls, give them each a hug and talk things out.

I would also like to draw people's attention to what specifically Corinne Loomis says in the final segment she speaks, at around 2:00. She adverts briefly to concerns Bob might have had about his marriage (the 'cold feet' theory posited by his daughters, presumably)-- and then to potential 'financial implications' that might have been cause for concern with his family. (I think we might consider trying to transcribe this.) At any rate, I think this deserves close attention. I expect that at the time Loomis had limited pieces of the puzzle, and was being thrust into an impromptu press conference. I think she did a good job of it -- it's just that you must keep in mind that her information was limited, and her goals were complex. All JMO, but I would love to see this footage sent to an expert in interpretation, as I am certain it would prove rich.

What I find astonishing about the first item you mention is that not only do the daughters appear to have spent little time with their mother when she was dieing, but some of them, at least, seem to have suggested that Bob gave her inadequate care (despite the considerable modifications he had made to their house/living arrangements and his loyal, loving time spent at her side). Perhaps there were other decisions Bob (or Bob and Georgia) might have made about Georgia's care -- who knows? I guess not his daughters -- but the third party accounts I've seen suggest that he was a devoted caregiver.

I wish Bob was here to speak with his girls too. But, IMO, gosh, look where speaking with his girls might have gotten him. I think that the only one who will have the chance to speak with him, in a better place than this, will be the one who comes clean.

Oh yes. Another believable statement.

I wonder if she changed the linens for Bob and Fontelle before or after this interview. Also, I wonder why her husband JM wasn't in the video. Oh that's right, her husband JM didn't go back to Bob's house the next day. He must have been exhausted from his home repairs the day before.

It has been posited by more than one of Bob's daughters that there is a morass of mystery surrounding this case. I often wonder what they mean.

IMO, they could not mean that there is any mystery about whether Bob is alive or dead. If they believed him alive, they would not have emptied his home.

If walls could speak, one might guess that AH's have a story to tell about that evening. Just the same, there are a few people out there who can reveal what happened. They know what happened, and they know why this is not really a mystery to anyone.

Coming immediately after a (heated) family meeting in which Bob revealed that he would include his wife in his estate, and a day before Bob 'disappears' while his SiL is performing handyman services, what could Bob's daughters believe so pressing to discuss that they decided to convene a meeting (without Bob) at AH's home?

Was it to discuss forthcoming repairs to Bob's house? Special linens to be changed two days later? Hermeneutic depths of 'Joe Vs. the Volcano'?

Who can say, short of the walls or the first of his kin to step up -- but regardless, Bob was likely no longer among us within 24 hours of that meeting.

Will nobody lift this veil of sadness? Just do the right thing. Think about the good things that you already have.

I have the same questions. What was said to PPD before anyone really had a chance to think things through and get on the same page. How thorough was the walk-through done by PPD, especially since it was after dark.

Your questions lead to my question...if we all pretty much agree that Mr. Harrod did not leave that house alive, what physical evidence was there of whatever happened? Did someone clean up/ make sure nothing was out of order? Did anyone else come back to give it the once-over late that night? So scary...
