We know he was prescribed Risperdal, which is an antipsychotic used for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, as well as some symptoms related to autism. Considering we only know of Aspergers (and even that has been reported inconsistently), I think it's safe to surmise that his mental issues were of the psychotic variety.

I've learned via this link that Risperdal may cause breast growth in men. I wonder if that was a part of ER's refusal to take it.

Interesting -- I was on Risperdal at one time in my life. Thanks for the information.

I'm curious how long ago he started writing this Manifesto? Could it be he kept journals since he was young and put them all together in this manifesto? He remembered so many details of his life starting at childhood through age 22.

You might want to Google Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes and come back and edit. :giggle:

I just did. Thats how I got those measurements. Are they wrong?

I'd like to know as well! I've had to stop reading this evening cause I just can't go on with it. It's so detailed and so fluently written, I grow exhausted just trying to read it. Maybe I'll finish it on day 3.

Not the measurements. :giggle:

I think I know what this means...

Cause they're now divorced? If not, then I know I should have went to sleep 5 hours ago. :blushing:

I know I finally got through it. He should have been a writer by doing so he could have established some self worth and confidence. Girls are attracted to guys like that not ones who feel sorry for themselves. Guys who say they are magnificent and wonderful are the ones who usually aren't and are trying to convince themselves they are. According to his manifesto he cried a lot. That's a turnoff

According to his manifesto, ER's mother tried to coax him into writing. IMO, he would have been a very successful screenwriter. Just wish he would have sublimated that anger into something more productive. So many lives tragically changed and traumatized...

I can't get the video to click. Boo. I don't want to search it on YouTube, my kids might see it on the history. :-/

You can clear your search history :)

He was such a negative Ned his good friends eventually stopped communicating with him tired of hearing about the violence he wanted to do to the couples having a good time. That would freak anyone out. He doesn't come across as a real fun guy to hang out with

I'm sure that his long time friend, who ultimately distanced himself, must feel awful after ER shared his thoughts and feelings (according to the manifesto), but never in a million years could he have felt that his bitter friend could actually go through with something so horrific.

Really? I don't care if they see the red carpet thing, it's all the other videos that will pop up as suggestions as a result that I don't want them browsing. I'll give it a shot while they're at school tomorrow. :-)
