On a chat board I read someone on there said at the premiere ER was wearing the same shirt as he wore in one of his video's.Maybe that was his prized $300.00 designer shirt. That might be the reason he is not dressed up, they might have tried but he might not have cooperated. That shirt looks like a cheap walmart shirt to me, but then I never have purchased a 300.00 shirt.

The price for the clothes is for the name and label.

Here is the quote:

Rodger was living with roommates at the Independent Living Institute in Santa Barbara, a facility that offers 'living skills instruction to help adults with disabilities to live more independently in their communities,' according to the website.

Thx, I read it when it first came out.

Answer to your question is still "no".

Much discussion about this is last thread. He lived at The Capri in IV. Links to the complex and much discussion in last thread.

Most of his rejection ideas were imaginary. I don't discount that he had social difficulties, but he never had the ability to give it a true hard working chance in the first place.

After reading his manifesto, I have a strong feeling that he felt the same on the red carpet as he did sitting in a class, cafe, beach sunset or what have you. It is this:

Why isn't everyone paying attention to me? I'm a handsome, rich, young man. A true gentleman. Why aren't any of those blondes looking at me. And forget it if he saw an interracial couple there. He would have been FUMING.

They are recurring theme in his manifesto. He always complains about something and fixates about blondes. He wants to be admired all the time.

Going to a red carpet event is something many people like to be at. I would be happy just attending one as a single.

Even if he had a blonde girlfriend and was rich, he still will complain about something else. He never has enough and wants more and more.

Ironic that he gets enraged when he sees interracial couples dating. He is biracial.

Just looked it over and I don't see where it was ever resolved that the apartments were not used for adults with disabilities. Can you give me a link to the post please?

In all fairness , regarding mom and dad, much ,unknown nor supported by a single fact at this point, indicates that they were non involved parents. I think it is fair, they have had to bury their child., to let them do that and if and when they want to go public to listen their nightmare and obstacles before judging.

I know I know other folks are burying theirs as well.

That sad truth , however, does not change the reality that as of now they do not have time or desire to talk to press. They too, are traumatized human beings, There was nothing more, within the system we have in place the parents could do – it’s our system.. In the coming weeks, happening now on CNN , we are going to learn how ill the child was.

We need to "blame "to grasp something that is hard to grasp -it has to be someone’s “fault” that these horrors happen in America every week. But blaming instead of looking at what is going on and WHY that gives permission to do nothing.

Many are doing the same thing with LE in this instance. They were notified they went there, they are not trained (many here are saying there was nothing wrong with him). If that is the case how can someone expect cops , not trained, to be able to access.

Much conversation is going on that they should have gone in . Police cant search homes , unless they have come to the conclusion that there is a “reason” to violate the right to freedom from search.

This is not the Rodgers fault. Lanzas mom is dead cause she could not help.

It is our societies refusal to acknowledge the realities of mental illness. To grasp that it is no different than cancer. It is an illness.. Until Americans can truly grasp that it is an illness, as the past year clearly demonstrates, as a society – we are not doing something correctly.

There certainly can't be anyone that would argue that this (mass shootings) is exploding in America. Until the govenmetn and the private sector start to take mental health seriously , sadly we all our going to be processing our thoughts and feelings right here on WS....................again.........and again...........................and again.Dig you guys but you know what I mean. And hey at least we are talking mental illiness - most of the country is texting about if they want cheese on their hamburger.

This is a society issue.

If the car does not start, and one is doing nothing to correct the problem .....then the car is not going to start. The expectation that it will is, well............................

RE:He knew we would be pouring over it after his death. And doing nothing to prevent it again.

Private insurance is no better when dealing with mental illness. They wont pay for long term hospitilzaion. That truth is repulsive in light of the numbers below:

I don't know how to get just the chart.

People do not seem to understand this. It is obscene

Sorry...I meant that I'm up to page 120 in his diary. If he was living in an assisted living situation, he never presented it that way. Unless it happened after page 120.

He wasn't living in an assisted living situation. He was living in apartments catering to students. His roommates were all attending an University of Santa Barbara and had no disabilities.

Wonder if ER was testing one of his guns?

Isla Vista News Item 20th May 2014
http://www.edhat.com/site/tidbit.cfm?nid=134466

Police and Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies were not able to locate the man. Law enforcement was looking for a white male, approximately 18 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds wearing a black beanie, white shirt and dark shorts.

This was false information. His roommates were students in an University, not adults with disabilities.

Can you provide the link that shows it is false? Thanks.

PS, people with disabilities go to college.

Unless that happened after page 120, he never mentions it.

I have a feeling the fathers lawyer was the one to come up with that and also ER being Autistic, I have a feeling he had a different diagnosis . Hollywood's idea of "therapy" can mean so many things. I remember a "Grief Therapist" who I honestly thought came out of CA but no it was FL ! In Hollywood they have others who try to minimize the damage to people in show business no matter how tragic a situation is.

They went to UC Santa Barbara, pursuing degrees in computer science.
What disabilities did they have? None. They are described as brilliant students.

I thought the fact that he is autistic came out during their divorce several years ago.

Does UCSB not allow students with disabilities enroll in their computer science program??
