I am never a fan when a case develops a circus like atmosphere. I don't think it helps LE solve the case and in most instances IMO simply creates an additional layer of distraction they must navigate while trying to solve the case. Press both legit and self styled know dang well the couple aren't going to open the door wide and give them information. Both now have counsel. So the act of staking out the home at this point, and knocking at their door is simply performative in nature, because in the absence of new facts to report they must create the story out of whole cloth. Nothing new to report? Lets show the public them not cooperating with us and what we want.snipped
They've had time to get replacement phones by now, imo.
I know I have an unpopular opinion but I don't like to see mobs surround the houses of suspects. It's ugly behavior, imo. We have a rule of law in this nation, not mob rule.
THIS IS NOT A DEFENSE OF ANYONE and I don't "feel sorry" for the parents. It's possible to suspect the parents, judge their actions, and join public opinion against them at the same time as not liking mobs forming.

I recall the Anthony home way back, more recently the Laundrie home, the crowds, the signs the chants. None of that achieved justice for any victim JMO
