What a pleasurable watch, thank you.
Curious if RH has any experience with being in jail, she looked pretty damn clam to me.
Even if she had been I assume it wasn't for murdering her baby.

They better be held on no bond, not that they could afford getting out on a high bond.

Curious what encouragement their 2 lawyers are giving them?
I can't see JH ever going to trial but can see RH.

imo

Child support for children removed by CPS and restitution are both standard. This isn’t a societal problem — can’t speak to whether he was held financially accountable in this case, but generally speaking, those systems are in place. And as someone else mentioned, the child support obligation would end with adoption. But even if restitution wasn’t ordered, the parents on behalf of the daughter could civilly sue him for damages. Of course, he has to have money to take it.
Yeah first rule of civil suits: only sue people with money!

He’s shackled
I believe he was moving like he was shackled because he was barefoot and on rocky dirt and they did not even allow him to put footwear on (poor thing). I zoomed in tight and nothing on his legs/ankles.

Looks like they dragged him out of bed. And that hoody? IMO to hide the beer belly.

It's hell out there. Very poor. Very hard place to live. Not an excuse, just context. VI cery little law enforcement, nearly non-existent social services and most residents are struggling with their own existence, not well attuned to what's going on next door, IMO. Yucaipa is a little better, maybe, but my family members from Yucaipa moved away long ago, as soon as they could.

It's 104F in Yucaipa as I type this and 110F in Cabazon.

I can't even imagine what's it like without A/C, especially for children and A/C is super expensive out that way.

IMO
I noticed they have solar panels in the yard. Those can't be cheap to install. JMO

ITA Izzy .. my very first thought was "Wow. She looks like she's old hat at this and totally comfy".

(Maybe she practised, knowing it was inevitable :D)

Omg! Not him wincing and acting all uncomfortable! Suck it up you whiny man child 🤬🤬🤬!!
When I see him, all I think is he killed a 7 month old BABY and permanently a disabled 10 week old BABY. His own children.

I couldn't care for her any less either, for the record. We just don't know as much yet about her. For him, we know 7 months and 10 weeks.

Still no sign of a PC, but investigators believe Emmanuel is dead. Goes without saying if they were arrested for murder.

In my state (IL), you can sometimes qualify for low or no-cost solar panels if you're low income. I highly doubt they paid for them.

I doubt he's required to; both of the children from that marriage were adopted. He's no longer legally their parent.
Blessings on the family who adopted these children!

Yucaipa is an actual city with like 50,000 people. I have a friend who lives there. It's hot AF there too, but it's not as desolate as Cabazon which is not an incorporated city and less than 3,000 residents.

I am aware Yucaipa is an actual city (although by California standards, not particularly large). It is a decent place to live (although very hot). To have to move outside of Yucaipa to some place like Cabazon is a big deal.

As I mentioned I have family who used to live there. Struggled, managed to move to Riverside and then elsewhere. I have been there.

Again, not trying to excuse anyone, but I can imagine a woman who didn't know how to do due diligence in figuring out what a bad man she was marrying/getting involved with. I also wonder whether both parents were asked to submit to voluntary drug testing (during the pre-arrest interview process) and what LE learned from that, if anything.

Maybe she's just relieved to be separated from him.

Appears report of a press release is one of the "content creators" out there for clicks. Lies.

Where I live, people get them for free. There are different programs here in California.

We have them. We paid nothing for them. There are at least two programs of this type (which is how California reduced its dependence on fossil fuels). There's a van in our neighborhood today, canvassing to get more people to do it. You do have to sign a bunch of paper work and open your house up to electricians and then installers. You technically "lease" the panels, but there is no charge. Also, people worry that they need their roofs redone (we do) and that it will be super expensive to remove the panels. Supposedly, the company who installed them will come and uninstall, store and then reinstall them (but they are currently under investigation for not doing this as their contracts indicated; I think there's a class action suit).

Anyway, out on the desert, the solar installers had an easier time selling than they did in coastal California (fog).
