I see no shackles. He was walking "tenderly" on the rocky dirt because he was barefoot.

ETA: Also wearing striped boxers and T shirt. IMO jerked out of bed and screw putting even slip ons or sandals on. Off to jail you go.
To be honest, I could have done without seeing him in his underwear.

Welp, been gone for a day or so and just logged in to see the inevitable arrest update. I never understood ‘strangers’ (people unrelated to a case) issuing death threats to people like this who commit such acts or are suspicious in doing so. Until now. I’d love to be in a room with these sickos!

CA has the death penalty, but they VERY rarely use it. And knowing CA, they may once more claim is it unconstitutional and commute sentences. Last time that happened, those on death row ALSO got chance for parole. Only reason at least one member of the Manson family ever got a parole hearing. And all of them were originally sentenced the death.

make that make sense. But short form, IMO it would take prison justice.

yes but that explanation I posted says they would be allowed to seek the death penalty in egregious circumstances, which I believe this will qualify for JMO

Annie Elise, host of the "Serialously" podcast, joins "Banfield" to talk about evidence removed from baby Emmanuel Haro's home after his parents' arrest. She reveals a family member said they hadn't seen Emmanuel for weeks before his disappearance as cops begin a devastating search for his body. #crime #missing #EmmanuelHaro

Wasn't that for LA County? In which case, that is one county they won't be tried in.

I think there need to be reforms made as a result of this case. You should not be able to turn a baby into a vegetable and then walk free and be the caregiver of more children. Maybe we could call it Emmanuel's law: no one who has caused serious bodily harm to a child should be allowed to act as a caregiver to another child.

Websleuths doesn't normally engage in hot topic social activism, but ...

I brought your suggestion to Tricia's attention this aft, and while it will not be in Websleuths' name, WS is prepared to host a dedicated thread in the Spotlight on Children sub forum. The thread will be a place for members to gather, share, organize, to help each other in going forward in Emmanuel's name in whatever campaign they think will be suitable and effective in working toward such reforms as you describe.

Perhaps it is fitting going forward that the name Emmanuel is about divine presence and protection ... a legacy in honour of precious little Emmanuel.

We'll get that thread started tonight or tomorrow morning.

Appears report of a press release is one of the "content creators" out there for clicks. Lies.
For those who couldn't read between my tired lines, that was referring to "press conference" which was a fallacy. Maybe we get one by Monday?

I guess Riverside County will have jurisdiction for prosecution, since that's where the home (Cabazon) is located. Anyone think cameras will be allowed in court?

I am fine without DP. I would like these people to suffer in prison for decades.
Just put them in GenPop and let prison justice handle the rest

Emmanuel's seven-year old sister should also be a part of that campaign, if her adopted Mom & Dad would like to participate.
