I probably missed it, but what's wrong with the baby's eyes?
The parents say he has/had Strabismus, or what used to be called crossed eyes.

I keep wondering about the timing of this incident and how it relates to Jake's upcoming court date. Given that it feels possible that the baby may have come to harm some time ago, I wonder if there was a reason they needed to act now. I also keep thinking about a crowd funder and whether this was originally meant to be an opportunity of some sort.

Would there be any reason he would need cash for that court appearance? Or might it encourage leniency from the judge if he was seen as a tragic figure, the victim of a terrible crime?

Maybe the timing is coincidence, but it feels very close. He's up in court in a couple of weeks, right?

ADMIN NOTE:

Please do NOT post information as fact saying you'll find the source and post it later. Find the source and post it in your original post or don't post.

The reason for this is, if it's not an approved source, or it can't be found, or it's never provided ... we end up with a whole bunch of responses discussing unsourced information that may end up being rumor. That rumor may end up being discussed on other sites and attributed to Websleuths.

Don't do it.

NO LINK, NO POST !!

I’ve wondered why they did also. There has to have been a reason or they wouldn’t have
Maybe people at the funeral for the brother were asking about him..

I couldn't figure out from that post 870 video how it was determined that those people were homeless. They looked more like random hikers to me.
We would deem them more like tweakers in California 🤣 Drug addicts who choose to be homeless bc shelters or their families don’t want them on drugs living there so they stay on drugs wandering around doing dumb crap and anything for money.

Can someone definitively link how many kids RH has? I've read that she only has the two with JH, but others are saying that she has one from a previous relationship. Since the 2 year old they share is allegedly with CPS, I'm curious to know which, if any, children are currently in RH's care.

I wouldn’t want to be bombared with media and speak out if I was her kids. Have random Tik tok people chasing me around

re the fire and the two people who allegedly set it: if they are transients, LE is probably aware of them in an area said to have a population of 2600, and familiar with them. I do believe they were probably transients, squatting on a property they knew was vacant. Regardless, hikers or transients, LE seem to feel the fire is not related to this case but rather is coincidental. Until they tell us otherwise I am content to accept that from them.

Holy crap. If that's a real sighting, I'll be amazed. I never even considered that it might be an actual kidnapping.
"Sheriff's department says it's aware of" = "yeah, yeah, someone told us something that turned out to be fruitless", IMO.

If they were excited about it, they'd sound excited about it, have been quoted about how they're eagerly on their way checking it out.

I get that, but also if my sibling or grandchild were missing I think I'd probably risk it. Maybe not, though.

Yeah, even in more populated areas in Los Angeles that I’m familiar with, homeless are often known to authorities and/or the community. It’s quite the coincidence, but it really does sound like a coincidence.

The age difference between them is noteworthy to me — any sort of unequal dynamic can be taken advantage of by an abuser.

Many people have guessed as to the cause of the baby's eyes, but no one actually knows.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP POSTING FACTS WITHOUT LINKING TO A MAINSTREAM MEDIA OR LAW ENFORCEMENT SOURCE.
You are creating so much work for our mods when you do this.
If you post something as a fact without backing it up with a proper source, we have no idea if it is true or not.
This is what Websleuths is known for. Sticking to the facts of cases.
PLEASE?
Thank you.

Tricia

Not sure if this has been posted yet

Police in California have seized a car belonging to the father of a missing 7-month-old as they investigate the baby's disappearance.

The car, which belongs to Emmanuel Haro's father Jake Haro, was "collected for evidence processing," Mara Rodriguez, public information officer for the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department (SBCSD), confirmed to USA TODAY on Aug. 20.

A spokesperson for the Sheriff's Department says Jake Haro's vehicle was seized for evidence amid the investigation. He is cooperating with law enforcement and investigators, his attorney said in a statement.

At this point, deputies have not put out a description for a potential suspect.

Over the weekend, detectives also searched the parents' Cabazon home with K-9 units. A fire broke out Tuesday at a house on the same block where the Haros live. Authorities say the fire's proximity to the Haros' residence appears to be a coincidence.

Jake's attorney speaks

interesting to me that Jake's attorney said - "they haven't had their vehicles since Thursday night, when the ALLEGED kidnapping happened"
Yes, I thought I heard him say that at least twice, and imo, he did seem to be implying the mom might be the guilty one, not his client, or at least leaving open that possibility without actually saying it.

IMO if it was more than a day or so since they claimed he was abducted, then the "everywhere" grandma might be complicit. In one video of RH speaking, for a few seconds you can see a bit of her on the left and I swear her mouth is 100% synced to what RH was saying.

She is everywhere and if she cared about Emmanuel, we might well know when last proof of life was. Then again, she is pretty much delusional. All IMO.
Replying to myself since I cannot edit post. This is the original video with gramma off to the left. About 1:40 you can see her lips moving. Concentrate on her while listening to RH speaking. Am I nuts, or does this come across as scripted?
