It would be sad and bittersweet if they found Erin today on her 20th birthday, but it would give some resolution to her family and friends.

Suspicious JT fire...

Hope for good news! It's Erin's birthday:cupcake:
I wonder if the scaled-back search is because they have narrowed the search area to a few specific locations. I hope that's the case. Otherwise, I fear that they will never find Erin.
I really do not think they want a Marine to be the one to find her. Jmo
Why would they care if a marine found her so long as the searchers are trained in handling this type of search?
Think of the suspicion that would follow.
Hmm. A hotel drain, huh? I wonder if they have evidence or suspicion that she met with someone at a hotel instead of going to JT?
I suspect one of the primary reasons the search has been scaled back is due to the fact that many of the searchers are volunteers and may have "day jobs" that they have to get back to during the week. Surely the Marines have units/people that are experienced searchers. Why don't they get them in the mix as well? I'm sure there is a reason they aren't involved but I don't understand it.
I must have missed something. Where was a hotel drain mentioned? Did I miss an article or was it just a speculation from someone? Thanks!
