Friends and family said that Planck was not known to have any connection to the building.

On Friday, federal agents and robbery homicide detectives from the LAPD entered her home with their guns drawn. Sources told CBS that officers believed they could be walking into a crime scene.

Photographers for LAPD were present at the house, as well as nearly a dozen other agents, who CBS reported went through every room, the garbage and planters around the home.

I do not understand why a warrant hasn't been issued to search the apartment building. If the news reporting is correct, her dog was found in the building. That dog did not "wander" onto the 28th floor.

She disappeared two weeks ago! I really hope LE is playing it close to the vest because if they haven't searched the building and garage, the level of incompetence is approaching the absurd.

My gut tells me something happened in the apartment building. The most logical explanation for her dog being on the 28th floor is that she and the dog were on the 28th floor for some reason. She wouldn't willingly leave without the dog.

I also have to presume that LE has been searching for her vehicle. It's one of the first things LE does in an investigation. So, either they found it and are keeping that information to themselves or they are pretty sure where it is and are being silent about that, too.

I'm thinking LE has found the vehicle. And what they found in it, was alarming enough for the Feds and LAPD, to enter her house with guns drawn.

So is her car missing? There must be video from various shops/homes that could have captured her car leaving the football game.

also, is the cell phone found at her home the one she normally uses? If she had another cell phone then the police would probably be able to locate where it last pinged etc. So, i’m guessing it’s her only phone and she left it at home on purpose so she couldn’t be tracked.

I think she perhaps disappeared on purpose—maybe dropped her dog off someplace she knew someone was likely to care for him.

Eta: now this is strange. I did a single dive search on the alpha instead of the numeric and it came up in one article about Heidi (Newsbreak) a couple of Korean (I think) sites and this database:

For sure they are, and they should, however I'm not getting any of the usual vibes about the ex from this case, are you? He's been super open and proactive and trying to get her name out there. Unless we find out her ex lived in the complex in which her dog was found, I think the answers lie elsewhere.

He doesn't even live in LA county. Her friends said she has no known connection to the complex where the dog was found.

But her husband was in the apartment only a couple days previously which is how he was able to know where the dog was because of messages left on the phone so I think it’s possible that it’s coincidental to the federal fraud investigation

It’s possible they took her disappearance seriously and proceeded with extra caution since it was so out of character. They might have thought she was being held hostage or something like that so yes, there are many mysterious possibilities.
