Is it possible she was intercepted, perhaps at a pre arranged meeting, or somewhere unexpected for her, and abducted in her car.....her dog Seven being dumped out in the area by whoever was in the car with her?
Her Range Rover is missing too.
I hope LE is scouring CCTV footage around the area of Staples Center and the apartment complex.....and freeway entrances...the Harbor Freeway 110 is nearby, and the 10.

This is weird. Likely completely unrelated. Woman found shot in the hallway of another high end apartment building. No one knows who she is, motive not known, suspect on the loose. Only description is the she appeared to be in her mid 20s, but Heidi is tiny and looks young. West Hollywood borders mid city.

I wish we had more information about where and how the little dog was left. Was his leash attached to a light post or was he wandering around dragging the leash? I cannot believe that she would just let him out on the street and move on. If she was going to leave her life due to the fraud investigation I truly believe she would have left him at home with plenty of food and water till someone came by.

Crime scene as in home invasion scenario, the possibility a suspect was in the house, or that Heidi was being held hostage?
Personally I do not think this is a self harm situation, but do believe foul play.

Reports state that the investigators are looking in every possible outlet of the home to find evidence. Photographers are on scene as well as nearly a dozen other agents, who are scouring every room, the garbage and planters around the home.

There are no indications as to what investigators were searching for in Planck’s home, but initial speculation states that this may have something to do with Planck’s business, as her employer is under a federal securities investigation for possible fraud charges.

I've looked for information on the "federal securities investigation", has anyone else found a linkable source on this?

Her dog was found three hours after Planck was last seen, on the 28th story of an apartment building in Downtown Los Angeles. So far, the apartment complex has denied requests to search the building’s parking structure and security footage without warrant.

Some thoughts on the dog and apartment building - I've looked at the outside of the building with the thought she may have fallen. But there is no spot which wouldn't be immediately visible. I've considered she might know someone there, something happened and she is still there-yet undiscovered. But where is her RR? Still in the parking deck? Surely LE or someone would have discovered by now. Vehicle was taken and dumped elsewhere? Very mysterious circumstances. LE must be on track with something though, the home search seems as if they have some sort of knowledge. The kind that family and friends don't even know, IMO.

Although I'm sure we won't find out why it's under investigation anytime soon.

Why'd she leave the game?

How did her dog end up where he did?

Oh boy, whole new spin on why she may have left the game agitated. She's a controller there correct? If there is a fraud investigation going on, that's huge and may play a part in what happened to her.

Security footage from Oct. 17 shows her leaving her West Los Angeles home with her dog. Planck went to Downey to watch her 10-year-old son play football, but her ex-husband Jim Wayne said she left the game early.

"She may have been a little bit edgy. I don't know," Wayne said. "I just know that was the last time we spoke to her."

Three days later, Planck did not pick up her son from his West Los Angeles school, located in the 1500 block of Selby Avenue, the LAPD said. That's when Wayne, who shares custody of their son with Planck, knew something was wrong and went to the police.

So many possibilities of where Heidi could be, in my mind.

I've also been reading a bit of John LeCarre' lately, and I have a vivid imagination, anyway.

I hope Heidi is located, safe, very soon.

Wow, address is only a couple of blocks from where a friend of mine lives.
Looks like fairly new construction.

That business was previously started in 2007 by a different person. I'm curious if she purchased/acquired it in 2019?
