omg😦😦i just posted a case... At the age of 3/4 he set his crib on fire then he was digging up dead farm animals, mutilating them and carrying them around. A couple yrs ago he almost killed a child and now, at the age of 11 he killed a 4 yr old.
Hello there. Though I've followed many a case here, this is my first post. Hope it comes out well. I just wanted to say that he doesn't seem to fit the "psychopath"mold at all. Is there a reason this term is being thrown around?
The environment plays a part, for sure, but abuse or neglect in childhood is just as bad as spoiling a child. Many child killers of the past had bad childhoods - grew up in rough estates, were treated badly, etc. James Bulger's killers, Mary Bell, etc. These days it does appear that quite a few of these child killers were spoilt. But some spoilt children are timid and wouldn't hurt a fly. Anyway what is spoiling a child? If a parent is very aware and connects emotionally well to their child, they should not even end up going down the road of ending up with spoilt children. I think spoilt children can be neglected children - emotionally neglected children.Personally, I think the profile of the teen murderer has been evolving in the last 10-15 years or so.
It is extremely rare for a child victim of abuse to murder their abuser. What is not rare is the motives for many of these murders seems to have narcissistic sociopathic overtones where they feel entitled to do as they wish. I feel that is why in many of these teen murder cases they have absolutely no remorse for the murders they have committed.
Some of the most prolific murderers known had no childhood abuse in their history.
When we have teens killing for not wanting to do chores, or because their X-box was taken away or some other matieral item or not getting their way about something or were told the forbidden word 'no' it shows many of these teen murderers only concern in life is for themselves only and what they feel entitled to do.
I think that can come about and produce sociopaths when the offender is not abused but is spoiled, and overly coddled where they beieve life is all about them and their wants and desires is all that matters regardless of who it hurts or how immoral and unlawful it happens to be.
I do believe children can be prone to be a sociopath at birth and their environment makes it even worse. We see the shows where kids even at the early ages of 2 or3 are already out of control and are filled with unnecessary rage. Its very unnerving to watch and even the mental health doctors say if these children were adults someone would be hurt badly by them. I have also read that conduct defiance disorders in children are on the rise and one of the reasons given for it is parenting skills. IMO, way too many children have control over what happens as they are being raised rather than the parents, as it should be.
Last year I read about a 9 year old who was already a psycopath/sociopath.
So I dont think AJG suffered from any abuse whatsoever. In fact I wouldnt be surprised to learn he was very spoiled. He is just another murderer who felt entitled to do what he wanted.
My heart breaks over and over again for little Maddy.
She thought he was her good friend. She trusted him and he took full advantage of that trust. What a horrible betrayal to Maddy.![]()
I guess that depends on your definition of "loving." There are lots of killers that came out of what appears to be an average sort of family. For example, James Holmes's trial is in the penalty phase right now. He has mother, father, sister, that appear to be an average family and a reasonably normal childhood.

The only thing is...you just never know what goes on behind closed doors in any family. So there's no way to know really if a killer comes from a loving family or not.
Did he have friends of his own age? Did he do things with kids of his own age?
Although I did see on his IG that there were kids commenting. Not after the crime, but comments that had been written earlier.
